The crawlspace of our 1930s home is small and challenging. Acculevel did a great job removing the old logs and stones that were holding up our floor joists, and replaced them with steel jacks. The men who performed the work were very hard workers. I corresponded with Acculevel via email after the work was performed to get photos and questions answered prior to us paying the invoice. They were very patient in answering all of our questions. It has only been a week, so I can't say whether the work will hold up, but so far our floors seem less squeaky! The only thing I would have changed is the fact that the vapor barrier they installed is not taped at the seams or walls. If you want it taped, make sure to ask for that during the quoting phase.

Upon receiving this review we had no record and we did not know of any reason that you were not happy. After we contacted you we determined that you had decided not to proceed with the work and you wanted your deposit returned. While we had your deposit we had unsuccessfully attempted to schedule this work a few times with you. We refunded your deposit and the check cleared our bank account on 11/10/2020. Since then we have tried to contact you multiple times in multiple formats and so far you have not responded. Homeadvisor has also reached out to you multiple times too with no response. When you hire someone to do a major project like reworking your basement so it doesn't flood, you hope that they 1. solve the problem and 2. stand by their work. Our situation was challenging in that it took a few tries and commitment to solve the problem. Acculevel stood by their work 120% which is not an exaggeration. When their initial solution unfortunately did not work as well as planned, the level of care and things they did to remedy the situation were well above and beyond what I know others would have done. They made it right and then some. It is my opinion that the challenges we faced would have occurred with ANY provider, but Acculevel kept their promise to fix our problem vs find a way to exit. A rare and refreshing character trait for the individuals and company. Highly recommend them. Thanks Nolan!
