Prompt arrival and explained what work would be done. Matched repair of ceiling to balance of textured ceiling. Can not tell were ceiling was repaired. Would hire again.

I had then install an overlay over the existing popcorn ceiling. They did a great job and the overlay looks like it was originally part of the house. The workers were very professional, and hee work they completed was high quality. The job was completed in 2 days, which in my opinion was very fast considering the scope of the project.

Summary: Arriving in an ambulance-styled vehicle, this company did a fantastic job on our Basement ceiling to remove the popcorn covering. Background: I contacted Drywall Medics to have a basement popcorn ceiling removed. I spoke with the owner and talked about my options. He quoted me the "Day rate" to remove about 300 sq. ft. of popcorn ceiling. The earliest they had available was about 2 weeks out, which worked well for our project. On the day scheduled, the contractors arrived on time. They were careful to protect the floors and stairs from debris as they worked. They were in the basement for about 6 hours from start to finish. They were able to remove the popcorn and put 2 coats of mud on the ceiling. The work was done professionally and we were very happy with the results. Because we planned to put up glue-up tile, we went with a smooth finish and we primed it afterwards. I would definitely recommend Drywall Medics for any drywall work.
