I love supporting small, locally owned businesses. We have a two car garage with two openers. John returned my request for services promptly. What I especially appreciated was that he was willing to provide an estimate on the phone after asking some good clarifying questions. He also explained the basis for his estimate and what might influence him to change it after he saw the job in person. After he arrived he was very open about what he was seeing snd what that meant related to the cost. More importantly, he explained the benefits of fixing versus replacing. Most importantly, he explained the options in a way that didn't seem to push me in one direction or another... I had two good options. As I mentioned, we have two openers. He assessed both and decided only one needed attention. We decided to replace problematic opener. Once the work was done he made sure both remotes were synced. John explained how to operate both openers and remotes. He had us put in our own passcodes in a way that preserved our privacy. Finally, he explained the equipment warranty, as well as his own additional coverage. It is at least as good as the warranty offered by "the big guys."
