Write a ReviewI hired A1 Garage Service in Michigan... There charged me 400 dollars for two spring,50 $ for one small metal washer and 412 dollars for labor...total I paid 862 dollars for a small cable break. It was too expensive. Now I am trying to get the bill for my paid service the company is not responding. Very bad company

Our garage door had only one spring, I guess maybe that is "builder grade" and that one spring failed last week. We ended up replacing the door since the vinyl rollers were getting old and it just seemed more cost-effective to replace everything except for the motor, which is still in good shape. The color we wanted was in stock, and installation was scheduled for the following morning. All was fine, until at the end when I asked where the trim was that we had also ordered. Turns out it hadn't been loaded onto the installer's truck. So, the following day the installer came back out to install the trim. After he had left, I noticed that part of the trim had cracked and that it didn't really meet well at the corners. I made a call and was assured that the problem would be corrected the next day. I received a text message that said the installer would be running late, but would send a text or call once he had completed a few other jobs and was on his way. By late afternoon, I had heard nothing, and called the main office. I did hear from the installer later that evening, and he offered to come out then and there. Since it was already dark and I was in the middle of dinner, I said it would make more sense to come out the next morning, which he did. I am happy with the work that he did, it looks great. I just wish that replacing the garage door and trim had not turned into such a multiple day project!
