I have tried several different types of gutter guards on my 5 homes over 40 years. These are by far the best. They keep out the big leaves and the needles and the seeds. And they do not just pile up on top, eventually growing little trees. They wash off. Trees drop branches and pine cones but they have not damaged the gutter guards. Other guards do okay with big leaves, but needles and seeds get through. Ice and pine cones invert them or branches impale and dislodge them. If you are determined to keep your gutters clear and have mature trees above them you will end up with this system eventually. Cheaper and easier to do it the first time.

Top-notch company from top to bottom. Customer service is as promised, which is rare in this day-and-age. I checked out a lot of different designs before settling on this one. Aside from leaves, I have large pine trees on my property, with long and short needles that blow around all year. They just bounce off the gutter screens or blow off in the wind. I know I will love this in the Fall. Other systems will let the needles roll into the gutters when it rains, as I see it. One of the things I liked most about this company was their honesty. They never tried to "sell" me anything. And, if I needed them to tweak something after the installation they were right there for me. No gutter protection is perfect but this one is as close as it gets for my money.
