    Baltimore City Water Department told me I had a water main break somewhere between the meter at the street and the main cut off to my house. I called three different companies to get estimates. The first company told me yes it is the water main (didnà ¢à  à  t do any testing to determine this) and cost will be $4,000.00 to replace it. Second company told me I needed to replace both the water main and the sewer line (again no testing) and the cost would be almost $8,000.00. Mike Crouse from Atlantic Blue came out and told me he wasnà ¢à  à  t convinced the water main was the problem. He spent a lot of time troubleshooting the issue by cutting off water to various parts of the house and then checking to see if the meter was still spinning out of control. As it turned out the line that feeds the icemaker in my refrigerator ruptured and that is what was flooding a crawl space! I canà ¢à  à  t begin to say how grateful I am for Mikeà ¢à  à  s knowledge and attention to detail and he saved me thousands of dollars! I wish I could give him 10 stars!

    We had air and dirt in our well water. The plumber who came to do the work had not seen the work order, had no idea what had been dxed, asked us to describe the problem which had already been explained to and dxed by the first plumber who came. For $600 the problem was **fixed**or 2 days. When we had them back, they dxed another problem and would fix it for more than $5,000. We found another, good plumber.

    Fred came out to refill our acid neutralizer. He was on time, professional and extremely courteous. Completed job in 45 minutes and the overall cost was only $155. He also provided recommendations for other things we could do to manage our water, but was no hard to sell anything beyond the service. I am happy to have found Atlantic Blue and will be using them in the future.

    Mike did the troubleshooting to identify the fault while explaining to me what he was observing, then isolated the problem down to the well pump (which I already suspected). I also watched Mike do a meticulous job in shrink-tubing the connections, wrapping it all in electrical tape, and inspecting the entire length of electrical conductor TWICE. What Mike did NOT do was try to sell me an entire GrundFos system when all I needed was the pump. Yes, I had a past plumber contractor try to load up my bill unnecessarily. Mike of Atlantic Blue did a fine job.

    9. Identity Verification (SSN)
      HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities.

      We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
