Reviews
Write a ReviewThis is based solely on their inability to proactively communicate during the work. When Artie came out to look at the job, I informed him that my boiler was being replaced and I am getting a new hot water heater as well. I went with them even though they were not the best price. When the inspector came and spoke to Nick, apparently they had to make some changes. When I asked Nick about it, all he said was that the inspector has thrown them a curve ball and they need to make adjustments with fittings and pipe size. NEVER did anyone explain to me that the inspector is requiring them to add an expansion tank on the line which is not part of the original proposal. Then I get an invoice with an additional $300.00 dollar charge. So I had to call the other company scheduled to come out on the 22nd and tell them I need them to adjust their price as they will not need to install an expansion tank for the hot water heater. The workers who did the work were great.
Artie was kind and professional. By the time I found his company, I had received too many HIGH quotes - as in over $600. This was a simple job of snaking out the sewer line. I had "businesses" respond and lie about ONLY being able to use my toilet (extra $$$$$) and not the accessible clean out, how long it would take (it took less than an hour), etc. I am grateful we spoke to BFMD, he agreed to my budget and he came out the next day to save our weekend. Great JOB!
The whole team of BFMD is very Cooperative, efficient and professional. The big thing is fair pricing and no extra charges after quote. Good communication and response before, during and after the project from Office and Field staff.
Absolute professionalism from the gentlemen who performed the service/inspection to the office staff. I would recommend this company to everyone. Art explained his findings and gave me repair options instead of going with the most expensive right away as the only option. I truly appreciate this as a consumer dealing with multiple contractors. They are my plumbers from now on.
Artie was the only one who suggested an alternate cheaper way of fixing the issue. Fair pricing and good communication throughout the process.
Would recommend
Artie and his team were very professional, efficient, and gave an awesome quote. I will continue to use them for even small plumbing projects from now on!
Friendly ,confident-and knowledgeable workers Just as the management that leads them Artie Bell my hat off to him and Judy whoâ s the glue behind the crew. Thank You All
The professionalism was top notch. I would like to thank Norris, Nick and Tom for the way they addressed Me and My family. Even speaking with Judy and Artie gave Me the confidence that I hire the right people for My project.
Obtained many quotes and these guys were best deal by far. They were able to do the work without the mass destruction a number of other companies said would be necessary to my front yard and sidewalk. The team was quick, professional, knowledgeable, and worked with our schedule when they had to shut the water off. They did exactly what they said they would do, cleaned up after themselves afterwards, and even went as far as doing their best to replant a very large bush we agreed they would have to remove to get to the main line. They did not have to do that and were definitely not landscapers (they are plumbers!), but they went above and beyond and I appreciated that. I would highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Baltimore to anyone who needs a plumber and will call them if I ever have a plumbing need in the future.
