I was completely satisfied with the quality of work, the fair value of the work and the timeliness. It is a bit concerning to hire someone you donÂ’t know from a referral source or reputation, but I was really pleased. Chris is a gentleman and a man of character.

Chris was extremely eager to start the job and positive at the price. Two days later wanted more money. Agreed 20 days later for me to pay a portion for work done and left the biggest portion of the job unfinished. He has lots to learn about running a business.

I would first like to start out by apologizing if your experience Corliss was not satisfactory. As our other five star ratings show customer service and satisfaction is very important to us. It is necessary to point out a few things about the job. It was a storm damage job, a large pine fell in the woods right at the border of woods and yard. It was such a mess it was hard to really see how much brush there really was because it was mixed in with other bushes / trees and plants. It was never specified that the job had to be completed immediately or right away. The tree was in the woods so it was not preventing use of property in any way. Because of this we explained we would work on it in the evenings around our regular tree jobs that had already been in the schedule. Had it been a hazard to property or had the customer wanted it done immediately, we would have done just that. I never demanded more money from the customer, I simply tried explaining as we started hauling away brush that it was probably going to end up costing me more money to get rid of it because once we started cutting and moving stuff there was more brush than what we anticipated. And being pine it can be hard and expensive to get rid of. However I stated that I would stay true to my word and stick with the original quote regardless if it meant I spent more money in dump fees. I'm sorry if you misinterpreted what I was saying as me trying to demand more money, I was simply keeping you informed of the situation. Two weeks not 20 days later it was agreed that she would move on with another company because she was not happy. We offered to continue but she said no. We did however return to her property to make sure that any brush or wood that might have been in the backyard from when we were working was hauled away, we then raked and leaf blew her yard so that it was clean and neat. When the tree fell it dislodged pieces of an expensive rock wall and as an act of kindness we put them back for her so she wouldn't have to hire anyone and did not charge her for that. We apologize again if your experience was not satisfactory. Customer service is our priority and we take pride in our work and want the best for our customers.
