Castillo Fencing did a wonderful job on our fence replacement. They provided quality work, fast and professional service and good communication. I would definitely use them again should the need arise.

I hired Castillo previously to replace a fence that fell over and they did a great job. So, it was a no brainer to hire them again

Poor install quality overall = used split/pealing 4x4 post and covered up with 1x6 pickets that are split and warped! Gates they built sag will not close properly (Gate is not Square) and post are offset. Covered existing brick border on side patio by placing pickets on wrong side of rails, now neighbors have brick edge in there yard and causing drainage problems. Sent all photos Dave - Castillo Fence requested but no response in over 2 months. This was complete good neighbor fence replacement very sorry I was spokesperson to them on this fence replacement.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! The office doesnâ t communicate the workers are lazy and rude and leave trash, cigarettes and nails every where. Not to mention the disaster of dirt and concert left all over my grass. They shorten the fence line not even matching it with the house next door. I have called, emailed , yelped, and called and called with no response as to what will be done to fix the mess they left. I came home to find the workers sitting around in my backyard and was told they stood around for about an hour when they arrived as well. This company is horrible. They bid low to get the work but donâ t do the job they indicate. If I had given the choice I wouldnâ t have hired them but my property manager selected them. Horrible service do not use. Itâ s worth paying more to have the job done correctly and cleaned up correctly

The two technicians were very professional and courteous. Explained their phases putting up the fence. It was a large project. My whole front yard. It s actually beautiful People coming by and saying how really nice it looks. Techs paid close attention to detail. Techs were Fransisco and Jovanie. They Cleaned up everything. More fencing coming in January. A job well done. Marty B Sac

I was very happy with the job Castillo Fencing did for me. They did an awesome job and finished my 70 back fence in one day including tearing down and hauling off old fence. I left to work with old fence and came home to a beautiful quality new fence. They also offered very fair pricing. I recommend them and would use them again.

Buyer Beware! This company will not stand behind their work if you have a problem after you have paid them. The owner of this company, Julian is extremely arrogant an unwilling to take responsibility for mistakes made by his crew. My neighbors and I had 180 feet of good neighbor fence and two new gates installed. We selected the more expense redwood at a cost of $8,420. During construction, we noticed the quality of the wood was subpar with 40%+ of the pickets having splits, cracks, loose knot holes or cut improperly. Castillo Fencing will charge top dollar for premium wood, but then try to install the cheapest redwood they can find (and get away with). After arguing with the owner about the quality of the wood, I had to force kicking his crew off the job and getting another fence company to come in and finish the work before the owner reluctantly agreed to replace all sub-par wood. Also, it should be noted that while the job was under construction, this company did not apply reasonable safety standards leaving my backyard with pool exposed to children in the neighborhood (a code violation). The gate Castillo built (and charged absolute top dollar for) was improperly installed with the wrong screws. The recent rains made the screws bleed and destroyed the look of my new gate. Castillo fencing came back out - only in connection with a bidding opportunity on the last good neighbor fence (for the right side of my property) and while there bidding the right side, I showed their salesman, Gerver the problem with the bleed on the gate. He confirmed the problem was related to improper screws being used. He indicated that he would discuss the matter with the owner, Julian to see if they could be replaced. I received a phone call from Julian (only after the threat of filing a complaint with the state contractors board and going after his bond). When Julian called me, he told me if the wood was not falling off that he would not address the problem. He would not acknowledge (or even discuss) that even his own man said the screws are improper (which I have on camera from my Ring floodlight cam). Julian said he did not care if I filed a complaint with the state or took him to court. During the phone called Julian called me a racist, as if that is the reason, I am wanting him to stand behind his work (I had to remind him that I was married to a Guatemalan for 22 years). After I said to him that his not standing behind his work gives the industry a bad name, he hung up on me. Use this company at your own risk knowing they will try to cut corners and use the cheapest material they can find and after getting paid will not come back to resolve issues. Any other company is a much better choice.

This was a small job, replacing a wooden fence gate, including setting the 4 X 4 treated post in concrete. The two workers took their time and the results turned out to be outstanding. The hardware, latch and hinges, was much better than I expected. The total cost was a little higher than I expected, but as they say, 'you get what you pay for'. I recommend Castillo Fencing.
