Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Lakeland

I feel like I was price gouged because I was a woman without knowledge regarding plumbing. I paid over $800 for the gentleman to change a cracked pvc pipe and change the tank/flap on the toilet. First the guy told me $1395. After my neighbor came over and told me to call the company that service my irrigation system he called the office and it went from $1395 to $813. I took pictures what was fixed showed another professional and was told it shouldn't have cost me more than a couple hundred dollars. The gentleman was pleasant but most con artist are. The work was done very quickly. It took maybe an hour to complete the job. $800 an hour I'm clearly in the wrong line of business...

Excellent service! The tech was knowable and customer satisfaction was his priority. All my questions were answered and the products he installed more than addressed my needs. I have recommended them to our neighbor and they are buying a unit also.

Everything was 5-star except for Customer Service. I originally made an appointment via Home Advisor and was told when BF Plumbing called that the time was not available and that a “time window” was required. So made the appointment for the same day between the hours of 10-2pm. At 2:30pm I called asking where the plumber was and was told I was not on the schedule. Not happy spending 4.5 hours to find that out the day of the appointment. Spoke with someone at BF Plumbing who took down all the information about the job to be done etc......so don’t understand the mishap. Other than that they showed up the next day and did a great job.

Quality work and excellent customer service. Rates bit higher than competition

The tech was nice, but could not clear the drain. They charge $69 for service call and evaluate. They waived the $69 and charged the $99? The drain is not clear and they do not know why. While I felt the $69 was the service call. The drain was not cleared so truly wonder about the company.

The plumber was friendly, professional and very instructional. I am grateful for his prompt, efficient service as well as help with understanding anticipated follow-up needs.

Even better, they came the same day I called them and had water heater changed and all the pipes fixed up. My plumber Jose was very professional and fast. I would definitely hire them again!

Very efficient, cleaned up work area. Reviewed other possible problem areas as part of the service. Tech very personable with a sense of humor. Would hire again and recommend to others.
