Reviews
Write a ReviewPlumbers are just too expensive. But they are all the same so not faulting this one.
They installed a gas line for our grill. The work quality seemed fine, though the gas line is a bit awkwardly placed, and expected some sort of safety measure to prevent our two young children from turning the valve. It's just a simple valve that our four year old could turn on with no trouble. Ankther issue is that, when we asked what we needed to do to attach the grill to the line, they told us that we could go to any store and get a "standard fitting" to do it. Well, there's no such thing as a "standard fitting," which made for three very frustrating visits to two different hardware stores and an expensive and time-consuming second half to the project. For a $500 half hour job, I would have preferred that they had taken two extra minutes to give us the specific name/type of part we needed to attach the grill, or even better, provided the part and added it to the bill. It's clear they wanted and in and out gas line install. What we wanted was a working grill. I would have rated them higher had they taken the few extra minutes to ensure that our needs were met. They have us the bare minimum. I'm sure there are other companies who'd give better, complete service.
clean and efficient job
Initial inspection by Jim was fine but the team he sent, while mechanically competent, showed no respect for structure, going overboard with the " Hole Hog" to a point where the decking almost fell through. Seemed to be on the "Get in - Get out" as fast as possible mode.
They did a great job. No complaints. Cost wise, I'm not sure if they were more expensive or comparable to other area plumbers. They called me immediately and set up a prompt appointment so I didn't feel the need to shop around.
Best part was they did exactly what I wanted after quote. Didn't try to upsell parts, warrenties, etc. even changed out a couple pipes with better materials at no charge.
On time, did a good thorough job. They answered any questions I had.
This job was done very professionally and efficiently. We are very happy with our new water line to the new refrigerator we bought AND the cost was less than we expected to pay!
There was a problem with the kitchen sink in the house my 96 y.o. father lives in. They came in and unplugged the kitchen sink, installed a new disposal, and hung a sitting room overhead light/fan very quickly and quietly. Always, maintaining a professional and friendly relation with my father and I during the job. Finished the job quickly and cleaned up the area so no one could tell they were even there.
