We highly recommend House Doctors of Columbia. Very high quality work at a truly good price. We are pleased. Chris did a superior job on the carpentry of our front door. He had to "stick build" the framing and the end product was absolutely AWESOME. Loved his creative solution on this difficult task. We got our quote quickly (the office manager was responsive & easy to work with). We plan on hiring House Doctors to install new shutters and several more jobs. They do great work.

Need to pay more attention to details, and clean up better after themselves. It was okay but not well done.

They perform their work in an exceptional manner and are very honest to their client. There charges are very nominal. I would recommend this company to any one and would rehire them for any future work. Sri

House Doctors did a great job and I would definitely hire them again! The thing I liked the most about them was the communication. When it comes to contracting work and scheduling jobs, things can and always do change slightly, but as long as communication is good, it all works smoothly. Thanks again!

Disaster! I needed 5 inside doors replaced. They had 6 weeks from the initiation of the job to the job date. At no time in that 6 weeks did anyone com out to measure the doors or jams. As a result when the date arrived to install, they realized the door jams were not the right size and new doors would have to be ordered at an increase in price. Even when this new information was obtained the custom doors were ordered based off of measuring just one door. As a result thresholds and frames needed to be cut which resulted in gaps that in one case left a hole in the floor where the framing didn't cover. When ordering the new doors, two were left hand open and three were right, yet the lever handles that were ordered were all right hand open resulting in doors with the handle mounted upside down. Throughout the project it was evident that this project was taxing their level of expertise. They worked hard , but the results were suspect. I have worked with their lead carpenter, Bruce, on another project and he was great, however, he was unavailable for this project and it showed. Finally, when I checked out the main bathroom the following morning (was not used because we were told paint was wet), I found the toilet seat was broken. My problem was that I was never informed about the damage. They tried, but this has been a disappointment.
