Jeremy returned my initial call quickly, came out to review the work I needed done and provided me a rough estimate on the spot. He followed up with the official estimate the next day. Jeremy stayed in touch when rain delayed the start of my project to let me know I had not been forgotten. He showed up to do the work on the day he said he would and coordinated with subcontractors for piers and stone work. Every worker showed up to work when Jeremy told me they would. His work was excellent! I will use him again! I highly recommend JK Construction.

This is a first class contractor. I feel qualified to make that evaluation since I was in industrial construction for 40 years. First and foremost Jeremy knows what he's doing and his crew knows what their doing. He has trained his crew to execute work without him having to be right there on top of them. After he laid out the work and gave them their instructions they performed expertly and efficiently without his direct supervision. Jeremy did make frequent visits during the work to check on progress and how things were going. Quality of the work was outstanding. Jeremy was very prompt to return my initial call, make appointment to make a proposal, establish a date to do the work and to complete the work. He had several really good ideas to make the project even more attractive than I had envisioned. That was during the initial call so was included in the quoted price, Not the typical contractor "add-on" or "extra". I highly recommend JK Construction and will use him for any future concrete work I might have.

As I am in the construction business, over the years I have used several concrete contractors, always with mixed results. When it cam to my home, I wanted a true professional as the pour was several yards. I used JK Construction after reading the reviews - and was not disappointed. Jeremy met me at my home, we reviewed my plan (which he modified, thank goodness) and quoted the project before he left. My only disappointment was they could not start right away - his schedule was booked, another sign of a quality contractor. When the crew came, they came prepared and knocked this project out in two days without sacrificing quality. In fact, the project well exceeded my expectations. Recently had a concrete pad poured for a storage building. Jeremy was quick to quote with a fair price and great quality. I attempted to get 8 other companies To quote the same job and the majority of them never followed up. I strongly recommend JK Construction for any size job.

We had a retaining wall and driveway with serious, complicated water drainage problems. Jeremy had plans for eliminating the water issue and stated he would get it corrected and that he did! Jeremy King of JK Construction just completed the job at the agreed on price and on schedule. He worked along side his employees assuring the work met his personal high standards of professionalism and integrity. The wall and driveway are not dry yet and I am already pleased. We are making plans for our next home improvement with JK Construction in mind.

Mr. King is the consummate gentleman. His knowledge of concrete driveways, and related issues, is complete. He performed everything I wanted him to do, and several related projects that I didn't know that he could perform. When he finished my job, I was completely satisfied. If I need anymore driveways in the future, I will just call him first, and forget the bid process. Having been in the Healthcare construction field for the last 25 years, I just thought I knew all about driveways. Now I do. I didn't know, what I didn't know.

JK is one of the very few players in the stamped concrete business in Birmingham that is reliable. We all know that contractors can be difficult to work with. This is particularly true of stamped concrete outfits around here. Most are completely unreliable. Don't mess around with those others. JK can be trusted, shows up when he says he will, and does a great job at a reasonable price.

Very good experience. Good work and great price. Much lower than the other 2 estimates I had. Jeremy was very patient with me after I missed 2 appointments! We had a driveway redone as well as a sidewalk and parking pad. Would definitely recommend JK Construction for concrete work.
