Jake really came through for me when making a small kitchen upgrade to an induction range and convection oven. The project required three different specialists, including a carpenter to modify the counter and cabinets, an electrician to rewire the circuit, and a plumber to cap the old gas line. All three of his subcontractors were on time, polite, and did excellent work.

I recently had Jake and his team renovate my bathroom shower, and I'm very happy with the results. They did a great job of installing new plumbing, retiling the walls, and painting the bathroom. Jake was professional, efficient, and communicated clearly throughout the project. My only watch-out and what brings this to a 4 star was my experience with the head contractor working for Jake. Once the project started I barely saw him again. And the contractors that worked for him, while amazing, seemed to be extremely busy with other work, so scheduling was kind of a nightmare. I was estimated 3 days of work that ended up taking almost 2 weeks. While part of that was things out of anyones control, some of it felt like it came down to bad planning. Overall, the job got done, and it looks good so I can't complain too much. Jake was always available and ready to solve any problems that came up.

Jake, his team and affiliates at Big Design Energy, have assisted me in design efforts and the coordination of skilled labor for improvements to many of my rental properties as well as each of my personal homes. Jake has always offered competitive pricing and a level of service that is superior. Anyone who knows construction or remodeling is aware that there is no such thing as perfection in the industry, however Jake is far better than most and always exceeds expectations.

Stay far away from Jake Wittrock, JWCreative, and Big Design Energy. While Jake does come up with decent design ideas, he has serious time and money management issues. He will lie about when items are ordered even though he has already taken your money well in advance. He provides no oversight over his vendors, and they will, more often than not, screw up measurements and the installation of items. Jake claims he is too busy to inspect his contractors' work even though it is shoddy, and you send him pictures to prove it. When confronted with these serious issues, Jake becomes defensive and lies outright to feel blameless. Jake also needs to refund money never spent on items and services. I was fortunate to have paid Jake with my American Express. When Jake refused to return approximately $35,000 advanced to him, I initiated a fraud claim. Jake protested the fraud claim with lies, which American Express saw right through, and refunded the entire amount to me.

Great working with Jake. Highly recommend for any project big or small.

Jake and his team were fantastic to work with. They were able to lead the process as I struggled with decision paralysis and the result was beautiful, functional, and within budget. I will continue working with Jake for any future projects for myself or for vacation/corporate housing.

Big Design Draper does a really nice job. They made Roman shades for both my living room and bedroom windows from fabric from fabric I had shipped to them. Both Jake & Jason work very hard to please,

After buying a condo that was quite outdated, I became overwhelmed with design ideas and lost as to what needed to be upgraded. I also had challenges with the layout of the living room and guest room. After reaching out to a few interior designers, I decided to work with JW Creative as Jake, the designer in charge of my project, was very professional and understood what I envisioned for my home. The results were better than I had imagined, especially for the living room and guest rooms. Jake was able to make elements of my home work with the design that I had previously thought had to be replaced, which saved me thousands in unnecessary improvement. I was extremely satisfied with the quality and price of the items. I would not have been able to find such items at that price on my own. Their work definitely deserves five stars!

I donâ t often write reviews but I sure do read them. I felt compelled to write a review on JW creative because i have been extremely happy with my results and wanted to share them. I  used JW creative for several projects.  When I lived in Chicago I met face to face with Jake and his team, when i moved to Puerto Rico i could not find a company on the island that was responsive so i reached out to JW thinking why not go back to the company that i was happy with. I was a little apprehensive that i would need a face to face for them to see the space but we did it all through video meetings. When they gave me a budget the project came in on budget unless I changed things and they were very good about letting me know how it would impact the budget. The team was very creative making suggestions on where to place things and what kind of materials to use. The work quickly in cad drawing and giving me renderings and walking me through the project. When I asked about appliances or fixtures they gave recommendations and sent me examples. The projects turned out beautiful and were beyond my expectations.  If you are starting a project or in the middle of a project that isnâ t going well they can help get you the results you want. They did it for me and I could not be happier. My local projects were full turnkey with them,  my project in Puerto Rico they gave me detailed elevations which I used to get quotes. They even supplied quotes so I knew what range the project should come in at. I am extremely pleased with JW and I think you would be too.
