Reviews
Write a ReviewAmazing company to work with! Great price, excellent work, easy communication. Weâ ll definitely be using them again in the future!!!
Friendly, collaborative employees
Very quick turnaround, they started the job in two weeks from the day we signed the contract. They replaced the original 1965 year old roof, which needed a replacement of 70 pieces of plywood! In addition, they did great job replacing three skylights! Hard working people and great attentiveness from Kyle.
Kyle from Km&m was very helpful answering our questions about replacing the roof. On the day of installation, kyle and his team were very efficient in getting the job done in a day and cleaned up everything as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a roof replacement
If I could give negative stars I would. Kyle was very quick to sell me his services along with his 10 year warranty; but DO NOT BELIEVE HIM. He sent a very unqualified group of men. They started painting the trim on my house on day one without ever doing any sanding or wood replacing as promised by Kyle. The paint job quickly failed and I was left with a mess within 2 months of having the house painted. I have been asking for his company to come back and fix this mess for 2 years. They came back once a year later but only repaired part of this disaster they left. I have many many photos of the mess. If you need proof message me and I will send you the photos. I wish I never met Kyle. He took advantage of me after the loss of my dad. He has been a nightmare to deal with.
The work was good and speedy. I had to wait 2 weeks plus after giving a 50 percent downpayment. I had to call them for updates
I wish I could be positive about this but my experience with KM and M (Kyle Murgo) was a mess, with long delays, spotty communication, and ultimately a messy roof job that had my neighbor threatening to call the police. I contracted with KM and M to have a roof replaced, and Kyle gave repeated assurances that it would be done within two weeks, then when that part, he said it would be done within a month, then done within a different two-week period, and on and on it went like that, with each deadline passing, sometimes with no comment or acknowledgment from Kyle. His contract said they would be able to do the work on my schedule and start right away, and this was for an investment property so it was very important it got done ASAP while the units were vacant. Unfortunately, despite these repeated assurances that it would be done within 2 weeks, it ended up being over 3 months before it was done. I also had a dumpster sitting in my yard blocking my whole driveway for an extra week beforehand, for no reason I could figure it out. I understand there is bad weather sometimes, and people get sick sometimes, but a 3-month wait on a 2-week promise is excessive. I would also have even been somewhat understanding except that the communication was haphazard, Kyle would disappear and not respond to me for long stretches, not acknowledge when the deadlines passed, and only gave occasional explanations when I directly asked (the weather, and/or illness). Around the 2.5-month mark, I asked for my deposit back, and he refused to return it and said I was contractually bound. (Even though his contract says customer satisfaction is guaranteed, I was not satisfied, as no work had been done.) Eventually, the crew he subcontracted did replace the roof, although they dumped huge piles of old shingles and debris onto my neighbors driveway (purposefully--their tarps were set up to slide the material onto my neighbors property) without asking anybodys permission, and they only cleaned it up later when my neighbor threatened to call the police. And Kyle never talked to me again after sending the subcontractor to start the work. Kyle seemed like a nice guy and maybe he is great with painting projects, but for a timely roofing project, I am afraid I can not recommend KM and M.
One of the reasons that I chose K M & M Roofing to replace my roof was the fact that I was given a Personal guarantee of satisfaction and assured that if anything was not up to my satisfaction they would fix it to make me satisfied with the results. Unfortunately, K M & M's "personal guarantee of satisfaction" was not honored by its owner, Kyle. After replacing the roof, K M & M left debris from their work in my attic and black residue covered the items stored in the attic. Attempts to have K M & M remove the debris and clean the residue were unsuccessful. The only way to get a response or answer from Kyle was to call using a friendâ s phone, and Kyle reluctantly agreed to come clean the mess within 3 weeks - 3 weeks came and went and I did not hear anything from Kyle. I had to engage a separate contractor to clean up after this vendor.
When they replaced the roof they were suppose to return and remove the extra roofing materials. It took them a while but they did return and left me extra shingles. They did an excellent job
Great, the painters did excellent work and address my concerns around attention to detail. The three rooms they did, walls was in horrible shape and Kyle and his team made them look brand new.
