Legacy Contractor Services

We met with Justin and I was very impressed with his professionalism. He said he had done several projects exactly like ours and it seemed easy and we should be able to complete in 8-10 weeks. I have never dealt with a contractor before, but I still knew I should double that estimated time and that was still ok at the time. We met in May of 2023. The project went well for a while. We started in May 2023 and the big stuff got finished in a decent amount of time, but not within the proposed time. Finally, 5 months in to the project, Justin apparently decided he was over it. All communication stopped. There was quite a bit still to do, but I guess he was over it, so we moved on and decided to finish ourselves. I never had a problem as long as there was communication, but Justin is awful at letting people know what is going on with there project. At least he was with mine. He promised things that never happened and never let us know why. I came away with a mostly remodeled basement and some work to do to finish myself, but mostly I am disappointed that Justin/ Legacy could not just do what they said they would or at least tell us why.

We are still in process of working with Legacy Contractor Services. What I can tell you is that the information and the planning process has been easy and enlightening. Justin is extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. He gave us a reasonable and honest estimate hours after he saw our home. I was surprised at how fast he was at estimating the job. He's emailed with us many times as we had questions on the materials or scope of the job, and never once was he short or pushy. He was always patient, kind, and willing to go over the line items. While we were in the planning process, the pandemic hit. Everything came to a halt. Justin was understanding, kind, and once again patient. Recently, we've had a plumbing issue in the house and he was the first person we called. He sent over a plumber to look at it and has been a support the whole way. He has even been willing to come and cut drywall that was left in our garage and move it to the basement/construction zone. He's extremely thoughtful -- like you would expect a neighbor to be. He's just the greatest. I feel so much safer and confident now that he's a part of our housing support (you know those people when things go wrong, you call them panicked, and they just fix it for you? Yeah.. that's Legacy Contractor Services). This really is a great company. There are so many unlicensed contractors on here that are really just handymen who provide less quality work and customer service. Justin saved us from a similar situation. It's hard to know who to trust in the contracting business, and many times contractors charge you commercial prices and are condescending while they do it -- not Legacy Contractor Services. Justin is an upstanding, honest, and caring professional. We are planning to hire him for all of our remodeling and building needs. He's the only one we trust with our home. I will update when we get further in the remodeling stage. But, once you talk to him, you know he's got your back.

We hired Legacy Contractor Services to finish our basement. The experience was great and Justin was able to help with the design and create the rustic look I was going for while being able to keep it within the budget. Justin communicated well and the contractors were respectful of our home. I would recommend Justin for any remodel, addition or new construction project.

Justin was always on time, he communicated well throughout the project. He was very professional. He and his contractors were respectful of our home. He does gray work and we love how he did the remodel.

We had an excellent experience. We stayed open during construction and they were very respectful with our work space, they were conscientious about keeping the noise down during business hours so it didn't affect patients. He kept the work space very tidy and clean and the dust was never an issue despite being open during construction. He was very approachable when we had concerns about design or building materials. I would hire him in a heart beat. It looks absolutely beautiful and we will hire him again for our next build out.
