I am extremely happy with the results of my floor. It is a Tara-cotta type floor and was put in this house back in the 1930's. It was old, dingy and, dull looking. It always looked dirty to me. It also had some broken tile and was a mess. This floor was put in with cement, the the broken tile had cement chunks all on the back of it. Kevin had to remove the cement off of the tile first, before he could repair the floor. He came out the 1st day and repaired the broken tile and filled in the cracks. The next morning he came out and cleaned the floors. WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE RESULT! I am very pleased. I had no idea the floor could look this good.

I am not accustomed to responding to customer reviews, however I find it necessary to respond to this over exaggerated and unfair review. For 30 years we have provided exceptional customer service and satisfaction building our reputation on honesty and integrity. This has earned us an A+ rating with the BBB since we opened our doors and countless positive reviews over the years. First and foremost we do not ask for payment until the job is finished and the customer is completely satisfied. I mentioned that our company policy is to collect payment the day the job is completed and request that the customer be present to view the job. It was inconvenient for him because he didn?t live in the house and it was far away and he would not be present. I recommended different dates to accommodate his schedule and he still wasn't able to be present when the job was completed. He asked me if I would come by the following day, a 40 minute drive to pick up a check and I said I would prefer not to have to make a 2nd trip to collect payment and ask if he could leave a check at the house. He agreed and I said if you have any questions when you look at the job please feel free to call me. Two days later I received a text from the customer at 8:30 am (which was his normal mode of communication) saying that the floors (3) look like night and day which was the scope of work to be done. Then he asked if we had done the upstairs shower walls which was not in the scope of work on the proposal. He had texted me the evening before the job and asked if I could clean them also and I texted yes. After commenting on how the floors look he asked if we did the shower walls I texted yes he then mentioned some areas of concern. I texted him that I could come out tomorrow morning and look at the shower and try to address the areas of concern. He said he was currently at the house could I come now. I said that it wasn't possible I was unavailable and again said I could come out tomorrow morning. I did not hear back from him again until I received a text late morning the following day. I then reiterated to him I was going to come by Thursday morning but I didn't hear back from him he said he didn't understand then asked if I could come by Monday morning and that he will mark the areas with blue tape. I texted him that's fine. I'm not sure why he would comment in his review that I "casually" said I would come back to fix it, we never even spoke on the phone. Communication was via text messaging. I wasn't fixing anything I was looking at the areas of concern. The following Wednesday I received a call from my office after they were notified of a review asking if I had a scheduled appointment with this customer. I then remembered that I forgot to have my office put the viewing on the schedule. An emergency came up and I had to go out of town the day of the viewing and it completely slipped my mind to go to the appointment. The customer did not bother to call or text me Mond

Kevin and his team were very friendly and professional. They did a wonderful job cleaning and sealing the gout and tile in our kitchen and bathroom. The floors looked brand new when the job was completed. I was more than pleased!

Kevin did an excellent job cleaning and re-sealing a travertine patio that was done poorly when originally installed by another contractor. He is very knowledgeable, hardworking and honest. I would highly recommend him.

Kevin and Adam did an exceptional job restoring our marble floors. We have a very large area of marble on the first floor of our home. I don't think it had been touched since the house had been built years ago. The sheen was totally gone from the floors and I didn't really have much hope that they would ever be as beautiful as they once were. Was I mistaken!!! In 2 days time our floors are beyond anything I could have wished for. They are now like looking into a mirror. I couldn't possibly be more pleased for Kevin's expertise, attention to detail, friendliness and professionalism. Hire MK Maintenance for any of your flooring needs. Very knowledgeable on how to restore various types of tile and stone. Did a thorough job and took the time to do it right. Result was beautiful; years of neglect by previous owner and now it looks almost new.
