We hired this company thru Home Advisor, the owner came and provided an estimate which we agreed. He started the work the day he planned, only problem is that he showed up and tried to pull a heavy truck on one side of the house, without even knocking on my door, so I have no idea who is ripping out my yard. When I showed up his first words were, what do you want me to do? Is wet! I said I agree, but why don t you knocked on my door before creating all this mess? He really doesn't care and don t respect customer s property. At this point I should fire him, but my wife wanted me to give him another chance, bad idea... at this point he is having a bad day and decided to attempt his worse performance ever. Started pouring concrete on top of dirt, barely compacted by a 20 pounds hand tool. Then he took off and let the concrete to dry, came back and poured a little more, when I asked why he was doing this , he said you do it, if you can do it better absolutely lack of respect for customers. At this point I decided to swallow my pride and go inside the house and pray for the best. Around mid day the job is about 25% done and he come to ask for money because he ran out of materials. Red flag, but my wife once again asked me to move forward. Long day after he hasn t finish the job , he took off with any possible attitude I can imagine, at a time I was confused on who was paying for the job. He took my money and run, nowhere to be found. After days looking for him, I called other companies, all of them agreed that I need to demolish his crappy work before that can do the concrete slab properly. Otherwise that won t take responsibility. Every estimate I have received is lower than Mr.Mata estimate but, the price will spike because of the demolition involved. Think twice before contacting this company
