This company gets stuff done, answers the phone, has their own QC and customer service deoartments, so you can reach the company while they are working hard in the field. A +. Great business model and contacts.

They did a great job getting everything cleaned up just like I needed. My only issue was not getting a call before they arrived like I asked.

Two gentlemen arrived on time! They trimmed pampas grass bushes, gathered and removed cuttings. They were both very pleasant; did the job and left.

We hired RANO for tree trimming and yard clean-up. There was a delay due to a winter storm, which was understandable. There were issues with communication and the workers knowing what the job was for 2-3 days as the owner Richard was not present and his **head person** did not communicate the job or show up to let the lady know what to do. Most of the workers were polite. However, there were some that were cursing about needing to get paid and one who quit in the middle of the job. One worker, Lupe, was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. She busted her butt and worked hard the entire time, which is more than I can say for the men who were supposedly â working.â She arrived at 7 am while the other workers showed up between 9-11 am. She only took a break for lunch meanwhile the other workers would leave at random times and be gone for anywhere from 30 minutes to 2-3 hours, or be standing around on their phones or talking to their girlfriends/wives/partners. Lupe stayed for the daylight hours and the men would be packing up ready to leave between 2-4 pm. On the first day our trash can and mop bucket were taken. When returned the mop bucket had a hole in it so could no longer be used. It was not that way before, it was outside drying out. We asked to remove a cactus, part of it was removed but strewn across the yard with the needles still present which is a danger/hazard where they were located. A sage bush was removed that wasnâ t supposed to be. The day the boss was going to show up the males arrived early and worked for a change part of the day. When the boss wasnâ t there, again they stood around on their phones, leaned up against the wall or left, and came back several times. A few days no one showed up to work, but the trailer was still in the yard. We contacted Richard who said the job was done. It was not, the original reason for contacting them, trimming trees had not even been done. Richard, the boss, said he would show up and never did. We did not hear anything from him for a few days then were told he and Lupe would show up to complete the job. Lupe showed up at 7 am, as usual, yet Richard never did. He contacted my husband around 8:30 saying he was on his way and he was going to help Lupe complete the job. True to form, he never showed up and never contacted us. Lupe did not have the equipment needed to do the job, despite Richard saying he would be there, and they would have the equipment they needed to finish the job. We found out Lupe was not part of his team but was helping someone out. He minimally paid her for her hard work and her doing 90% or more of what was done (clearing weeds and raking up leaves, a few branches cut). We were often told Richard was going to show up then never did or that his crew would be here, and Lupe would be here working by herself. Not one of the items on the invoice was completed as stated and there was destruction to our property (bucket is broken, mailbox hit and loosened, sage bush removed that was not supposed to be, cigarette butts around the yard [we do not smoke]). Lupe let us know how bad she felt that we were not getting our needs met in a reasonable amount of time. She even stated multiple times that she wanted to finish the job without compensation because she felt so bad for us. We ended up terminating the contract with RANO services as the job was not even partially completed after a month. We are extremely disappointed with this company and DO NOT RECOMMEND them. On the other hand, Lupe Ortiz is an extremely hard worker and we would be glad to have her complete projects for us in the future.

Slow to start because of a problem with a contractor, but once they arrived they were professional, efficient and courteous.
