Write a Review1st Visit: I initially had one complaint upon the first visit. The crew did not sufficiently clean up after themselves as evidenced by the picture of nails and screws. I found all of those nails and screws laying in my driveway and around my sidewalks/patio. 2nd Visit: I had USA Insulation come out again, because I noticed (after taking out my shower) that two exterior walls had not been filled. This shook my confidence in the workmanship and product. When they came out a second time they noticed that not only had all the insulation settled, but several holes had not been drilled. After the second visit water damage appeared in the ceiling of my living room(during visit 3 I learned that it was due to the fact that they were actually filling my joist spaces, not the walls of my second floor). I attached a picture of two empty cavities as evidence for the second visit. 3rd Visit: USA Insulation came out a third time upon me taking out electrical receptacles in my exterior walls. I noticed that my house was not any more efficient than before and looking at 5 or more cavities proved that I was right to be skeptical. Many of the cavities were halfway or completely empty. A friend of mine supervised the third visit while I was at work to ensure that the job was done correctly. He noticed several work practices that were dubious at best. The workers had improperly measured between stud spaces leaving a dozen or more spaces completely untouched. He told them how to measure correctly and they followed his lead by drilling the holes. Additionally, he discovered that the second floor was untouched on the south facing wall. This was due to the fact that the workers drilled into the joist space, not the second-floor walls. This caused the water damage in my living room ceiling to worsen (see picture). During the third visit a cavity was filled with a heavy resin mixture which poured out of a receptacle(see photographic evidence). Moreover, it appeared that many of the cavities were not being filled due to the technician not leaving the hose in the cavity long enough. Cavities which appeared to have some foam in them kicked out dust and air for a few seconds in each cavity as he "refilled" them. The crew reinstalled my siding but left a two inch gap on the front corner, leaving the bare wood exposed as evidenced by pictures. Final Complaint: So far, I have found 3 empty/half empty cavities since the last visit this month. I have already filed a formal complaint about this. I was previously discussing how to get a form of compensation to cover for replacing siding, however I am ready for a full refund. At this point USA Insulation will either continue servicing my house perpetually to maintain the warranty, or I will get a full refund. I am prepared to go public with all the evidence that I have. My evidence shows a comprehensive failure on the part of USA Insulation Louisville from management to technician. USA Insulation wants to maintain the warranty and come out again to "fix" the problems. I have asked time and time again for them to provide me with a tangible dollar amount to reimburse me and settle the matter permanently. While USA Insulation is not hard to get a hold of I feel like I am negotiating with a brick wall, I even offered the owner of the company to void my warranty and give me my money back, but he refused. Only time will tell if the job will ever be done right. Photos: I have attached pictures of empty cavities which had supposedly been filled 2 times before, shutters which had been stepped on by the workers and damaged, my ceiling which has water damage, and my electrical outlet with resin pumped through it.
