I would not recommend this man to do anything. UPDATE 10/22/23: This guy Ivan is a scammer. I had a contract with him to extend my breezeway. Paid him 3000 of the cost 45% to start. He poured the concrete slab and had stolen materials delivered to my home to complete the project. He tried to ask for another 2000 and when I refused he refused to finish the contract. You might ask how I know the materials were stolen? He gave me a copy of the quote like he paid for the materials. I called the company and they said the materials had not been paid for and they would not be doing business with Evas Garden again. Now I am stuck with the materials shrink wrapped in my driveway. The company said they did not want it back. I think they might file legal action. So that means he changed me 3000 for a 12x12 concrete slab that another concrete company said was not pour correctly and will settle badly over time and Ivan kept the rest of the money. Now I have to find a company to finish the job which now I am going to be skeptical about because of the way Evas Gardens Ivan Salazar.

Mr Cook, we understand your madness cause we didnt want to go forward with your project. But as we spoke, your disrespectful behavior against our material supplier is unacceptable and per our policy we decided to stop the project to avoid any further conflict with you. As we discussed, the upfront payment was used to set the concrete patio and the material was dropped on your driveway. The suppliers never deliver material if it?s not paid before and we have their invoice as proof. So sad you have to lie to justify your behavior.

Hi Van, thank you for your feed back. But not sure what you mean. The regular concrete slab of 14x15 was poured according with your instruction, level and broomfinish, one control joint. Your comments were that you were “so happy with the work” , “excellent job” . Would you please help us with more feedback. We want to be better every day. The only thing we forgot was to call your wife to mark her initials on the slab.

Ivan came out gave me a quote, and checked in periodically as my start date was more than a month out. Patio slab looks great, done in one day. He's coming back to acid stain it this weekend. I'm looking forward to hanging out on the new patio this summer and fall.

I called Ivan several weeks ago. He was very kind, courteous and professional. He quoted me a price for the work that needed and gave me several options. We agreed on the option and the price he quoted. I had reached out to several others also. Ivan company gave me the best price and references. They came when promised and did a wonderful job and cleaned up afterwards. I would hire them again hands down!
