Honest & professional. It was important for us to go with someone we could trust. They were very professional & helpful to deal with, took their time to understand the project in the end we had detailed drawings done in a timely manner. We will definitely use them again if we need to.

Shilpa working with her structural engineer completed all the architectural and structural plans and calculations for a 400SF single story addition, complete with drilled piers and grade beams, in just over two months for submittal to City for review. Shilpa is very easy to work with and is quite readily available to fit my work and project schedule. Shilpa is very responsive to my comments and timely completion of required documents. Cost is reasonable. City has few review comments and issued permit for construction. I would definitely retain Shilpa again when the need comes up.

Shilpa did an amazing job designing an addition to a home we bought. It included remodeling an extra framed garage into a master bedroom suite, laundry room and powder room plus adding to its size . The project also included doubling a great room to blend into the house with the new suite as well as opening up the kitchen to this great room and raising the ceiling . The design blends really well and will provide a nice open plan for living and entertaining I was impressed with how well Shilpa understood what we wanted and executed the plans in the time frame promised if not earlier. She also pushed it thru the planning dept. with minimal need for changes. The project is on going and is moving along well Shilpa is always available to answer questions as things progress. The contractor feels she is easy to work with as well. I really enjoyed working with Shilpa and easy her demeanor .

Would not recommend this architect to anyone. Complete rip off!! Hire this architect if you want to do every part of architecture work yourself like: - Design - Printing the plans - Going to city office - Understanding the review comments and getting the plans revised - Pay significant hidden fees - Pay separate fee for structural engineer We hired architect Shilpa from Team2 for Room And Bathroom addition. In the first meeting she seems very confident about her 25 years architect work. But the nightmare starts when we saw the first design draft. We have noticed that she missed on lots of details we have mentioned to her. And we have seen this pattern in her work in every phase. Right from basic measurements. That resulted in multiple (6-7) rounds of Planning review with city. The plans were amateurish. She never really gave us solution according Available space. This was not worth at all, and we wasted 10 grand on this. Planning and building process: 1. We did confirm that she will come to the city office to handle permit process for us. But, at the time of actual building review we had to go to the city and talk with city inspector to understand the comments. When we asked her to handle the review process in city office she demanded more money to come in person to the city office. So she clearly lied to us just to get this project. 2. Due to her pattern of missing on details there were mistakes in the planning drawing, That resulted in multiple rounds of reviews. But issue was we had to pay for the printing copy from our pockets. And this is all because of her measurement mistakes. 3. Even though the project can be done over the counter, she wanted us to do staff level review to elongate the process and make more money. 4. The city officials made comment about lack of coordination between architect and structural engineer (which was recommended by Shilpa). 5. She never went to the city once for the permit process. Architectural drawing produced: 1. She has no idea about how much a particular change would cost to build it. She gave us completely wrong estimate for our change. From the very beginning we asked her to design solution to minimize the construction cost, But she did not do it while working on structural plan 2. She has given us such complicated plan that every contractor we talk to quoting us double what we have expected. Some of them also commented on design is really complicated for such simple addition. 3. Because of her casual attitude towards our requirement we have to abandon our project.

Shilpa is a joy to work with. Takes your ideas and incorporates them into the project like a true pro.

Shilpa was very good. Every layout was well thought out and well planned.

Shilpa is an excellent Architect, at a reasonable price. She is willing to work with you and advise on any changes you want to make. Highly recomended
