Reviews
Write a ReviewA1 Prestige was great. Their repair was done quickly and at a competitive price. Most importantly, they accommodated my very short timeframe as the property sale was scheduled within a week. I would unquestionably recommend them.
Very professional and timely
This company charges an 8 percent sales tax to the quotation. Usually, this type of job includes the tax in the quotation. Besides, the NJ sale tax is 6.75 percent, with no rate of 8 percent. They measured the chimney with an incorrect position, the top they ordered did not fit. The worker knocked a hole on the plywood to move the chimney to fit the top, without fixing the broken top board.
A1-Prestige quoted me for a basic chimney cap replacement, which should have cost about $350. It was found that during their follow up inspection that more work needed to be done to reline the chimney, as the flue was out of alignment. They recommended re-building the entire chimney above the firebox to fix this issue, which was not necessary. After telling them I would need a second opinion and was objecting to the job they kept pressuring me that I needed to do this job for the safety of my family. They even said the chimney was **disconnected** from the house and was a hazard. I ended up caving in and had them rebuild the chimney from the firebox up and install a new flue system for $11,500. This work was un-necessary and they purposefully charged me for much more work than was needed. Based on my research, a replacement flue system in an existing chimney should cost around $6,000 in NJ. This is not an honest business and they took advantage of me.
They lie right off the start I hired them to fix a retaining wall the Technician or salesman tells how he will come in remove the stone and poor concrete and make a strong foundation that did not happen they used silicone I also asked if they could replace railroad ties first they did not KOW how to then when they did it looked like my five year old nephew did the job they did not use the right saw for cutting and it looks like SHIT so with that if you want to spend a lot of money for NOTHING than I recommend this A1 -PRESTIGE LLC.
A1 Prestige explained the mold on my roof would do in the future. They were experienced, knowledgable.
Very Professional and Knowledgeable, Highly Recommend
Need signed contract Original contractor did not show up. Forced to work with assistants one did not speak English and the other disagreed about work to be performed.
Elton and his team listened and did an amazing job repairing our concrete stairs. They were prompt, clean and clearly take pride in their work.
