We had this huge house project on our hands and a short timeline to get everything done. But Khaled? He's like a magician. Somehow, he managed to keep us on track, while also balancing our vision and our budget! I'm talking about creative solutions that we never would've thought of ourselves. And the best part? He made it all happen without sacrificing quality. Our home looks absolutely stunning now, thanks to Abalia Construction. I recently contracted with Abalia Construction to finish my basement, and overall, my experience was great! Things that stand out for working with Khaled are his communication style, his ownership/creativity to meet the design in delivering the end-product and his efforts to keep our project timeline and budget. He brought fresh and innovative ideas to the table, transforming our basement into a unique space that stands out. The incorporation of creative elements added a distinct touch, making the final result more interesting and personalized. Khaled demonstrated an ability to manage time effectively, ensuring that the basement was completed within the specified period and provided a realistic cost estimate from the beginning which they stuck to. There were still some unforeseen delays to the project due to either material back-order or unavailability of workers, but still Khaled worked personally to keep the project on task and within reasonable time. Communication with Khaled was great as we were able to approach with any issues/concerns and he was able to have a logical cordial discussions to reach to an aligned position. He was responsive to queries and concerns. While the basement looks great quality there were still instances where attention to detail seemed lacking. The subcontractors and workers employed were also skilled professionals however their attention to details could have been better. Moreover, communication with workers/sub-contactors was little challenging due to fact them not speaking English. Clearer communication on these fronts could have mitigated some of the concerns I had during the construction process. However, Khaled overcame these challenges by taking an active role in addressing any issues even when it meant that he had to re-do some of the activities again, bringing his workers back, or even him spending long hours to complete the job to our satisfaction. In summary, Abalia Construction delivered a basement finishing project that showcased creativity and was completed within the agreed-upon timeframe and within budget all with an excellent communications. Without any doubt, they will be the first I reach out to for my next project.

Khaled and his team finished my basement. Khaled has a great sense of design and takes pride in his work. He cares about how the end product turns out. He is very creative in coming up with ideas to solve tricky problems, which are bound to occur in any home renovation project. I had a few instances where it felt like the project was going to fall apart due to unexpected challenges and his creativity and workmanship put things back on track. His team was cordial and met the design needs as they arose. One concern was how the project started and stopped many times due to lack of his team's availability or lack of coordination among them, delaying the overall project by weeks. The other issue was with his plaster team, who did a poor job. However, Khaled took ownership and got the plaster work fixed, which speaks volumes about how much he cares about the quality of work and his customer satisfaction. Khaled is very personable and easy to work with. He cares about customer concerns and answers any and all questions you may have, and provide valuable input. I would hire him again.

Khaled did a major renovation for our property, including kitchen, bathroom, basement, living room and deck. The house needed upgrading of heating system, electrical and plumbing. Khaled came highly recommended from our realtor who said that he did excellent work for her. From the moment we meet Khaled it was apparent he knew his stuff. He walked through the house examining the structure and construction, pointing out defects, areas of improvements, and possible approaches. When we started the actual demo and rebuilding, his crew was diligent and very capable. Khaled takes pride in his work and is honest and reasonable and I suggest asking for his input as he always has good ideas and vision. In this age of cost cutting, sloppy workmanship, and lack of integrity, Khaled stands out as an honest contractor who cares about his work. He doesnâ t cut corners and is through and careful. His crew is also trustworthy and hardworking. Bonus points to Khaled also for being funny, smart and charismatic. Yeah this is a paean of praise but in this case well warranted. Five stars for this excellent contractor.

Khaled and his team were outstanding. The attention to detail, the quality of the workmanship and Khaled's attention to my questions and concerns during the project were all top notch. As with any project this size (mine was an entire basement remodel approximately 800sqft that included some minor demo), there were some complications, but the measure of any situation is how the stakeholders address it and there too, Khaled proved that he is made of superior customer service mettle. He got in front of the problems we were facing and addressed them methodically and kept me apprised as needed. He has a marvelous crew and they are all quite fun and knowledgeable. I absolutely love my finished basement. The walls and the painting job alone makes it worthwhile, and that was just the finish work! Fantastic! Strongly recommend Abalia for all your construction and remodeling needs.
