Write a ReviewSteve was very professional, from providing background info on what needed to be done and why when preparing his estimate, to the friendly service from he and his crew during the day of the tree removals and cleanup, to answering post job questions and providing suggestions. Best of all he is a local (Lakeville) Will definitely use his team again.
Steve is great to work with! He has been to my home 3 times over the last 4 years for tree removal and trimming. Excellent job at a reasonable price. Everything is cleaned up at the end of the job and typically does the little extras that mean so much. I highly recommend him!
Beware of Addison Tree and Outdoor Services: On April 15, 2021, I hired Addison Tree to remove approximately 35 Black Locust trees from my property. The owner and sales manager saw the job and quoted a price to include removal and stump grinding and would complete the work in 4 days. They came with a crew of 6-7 and started out ok, but then it became a nightmare... - IF they showed up, they only worked a few hours - No communication as to if/when they would be at my property to work - Used my property as a TOILET! I have multiple dogs that found it, ate it, rolled in it, and brought it inside my house, which necessitated a call to cleanup companies which informed me I needed to call a specialty BIOHAZARD cleanup company to take on the problem. As this foul incident occurred on a Friday evening, the Biohazard teams charge double the rates for weekends/evenings. To sanitize a home the size of mine would cost $8k. There would be a minimum of 4 hours and a team of at least two with respirators and full hazmat gear. - My dog groomer also charges a biohazard fee and to wash and blow-dry all my (multiple, long-coated, large) dogs with smeared, encrusted human feces she quoted $2k. - Addison Tree dumped about 40 yards of wood chips, some diseased from other properties, right next to my house. I was informed by other tree experts that the chips generate heat and could have spontaneously combusted and caused a house fire. - The wood chips were dumped on my garden, which killed the plants, and made it difficult to clean up. - Logs were left haphazardly across the entire property so the grass could not be mowed, inviting ticks, etc. and it looked like a tornado went through. - Big logs were left for weeks on my driveway making ingress/egress difficult - Fencing was destroyed - Left brush in front of gates preventing ingress/egress - Tree was dropped on a cement pad, crushing it When confronted, the owner, who in my opinion, smelled of alcohol, stated he had bid the job too low and that I should pay him twice the contracted amount. He was unconcerned about the damage and devastation he caused to me and my property and tried to justify the time overage (supposed to take 4 days and it had been 7 weeks). After quotes from several other companies, I hired another company to clean up the mess Addison Tree left on my property. The company owner said he, **had never seen such a poorly done job in his career** and that I am **fortunate the huge chip pile did not catch on fire**. He also said that the mess on my property was so bad **it reminded him of the cleanup he was involved in during Hurricane Michael** So beware of Addison Tree. I feel an obligation to warn others so no one else ends up with a devastating catastrophe like I did.
There are unknown factors on the side of the client as well as many lies and exaggerations in this post. -Steve // Owner.
They removed several trees from my property and cleaned up afterwards and the price was right. Recommended them to my neighbor, and they did a fantastic job for her. Yesterday they were trimming tree for a neighbor, three houses down from me, I walked over and asked him to get rid of three big branches that fell out of my remaining trees, I am 76 years old, Steve was nice enough to walk over and get them. Thank you Steve.
This is the best tree service company I have ever experienced, and i have delt with a few. Their pricing was reasonable, they showed up on time, worked safely and cleaned up beautifully. We had four properties that had tree damage from a storm. Some large trees, close to homes, had dangerous splits up the trunk sections. They engineered the removal in such a way as to have no danger or damage to the homes or surrounding gardens, etc. They took care of all four properties promptly and to the satisfaction of all four homeowners. If you want a professional company with skilled and experienced employees Addison Tree is the company to use. Rick from Oakland Township
Fast, efficient and fair price. Cleaned the area up better than it was before they removed the tree.
It was very good
very easy to work with - polite and understanding - good quote and quick and nice work
Reasonable price, fast service, very good work.
Easy to work with, great job on cleanup. Did a ton of work for me, including removal of shrubs/hedge and several dead or dying trees. Very hard working crew. The trees they trimmed look fantastic.
