Alfa J Pools Services, LLC

This is our second year with Alfa Pools, and Joel. We started off with a complex project rebuilding our pool last year, work which was completed in time for the opening of the season in this area. The work was first rate, communication throughout the process excellent, results above and beyond. This second year has been about replacing old, worn out equipment with new gear, together with maintenance and regular pool opening, all performed flawlessly. We could not be happier with Alfa, they are responsive, responsible and dedicated to providing first class service at very reasonable rates.

Update 22 May 2023: Unfortunately the service did not end well. The opening of the pool revealed that they had not treated the pool with the proper winter chemicals. It looked like a pond. Instead of taking quick action to remedy the situation, they did very little and were unresponsive to my calls to fix the situation. I do not mind mistakes but I expect a grown person to admit their mistakes and work hard to remedy the situation. Unfortunately, neither was in evidence here. I would not recommend this business. I contacted Northern Pool Services after being disappointed with the service that I received from a competitor earlier in the year. It is a fairly new business and I decided after speaking with their manager, that I would ask them to perform my pool closing. I am glad that I did! I was impressed with their attention to detail and service. Joel the technician and proprietor was extremely professional. He arrived on time with all of the necessary equipment and took his time with the work. In addition, he made some recommendations for minor repairs that in the end would likely save me time and money over the long run. I am a stickler and detailed oriented and am often critical of service work. Joel exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend Northern Virginia Pool Services.

Great customer service and a good job taking care of our pool.

Very friendly and good service. I’d say they do an excellent job. They know a lot about what they do and that gives you peace to know you’re in good hands!
