Reviews
Write a ReviewThe guy that they sent out was an experienced contractor. He determined that we didn't have an active leak.
The team that performed the work was great. Malcolm explained each step and answered questions without hesitation or annoyance. Sales Rep did not adequately evaluate or inform team of the issue to install a dehumidifier, which was a second part of job. Overall, I would use Malcolm and his team again, but hopefully I won't need to again.
They hold your deposit hostage and canÂ’t offer repair until 30 days out. The scheme is to get your deposit with falsely promising to put you on the move up list because they know that you are selling your home. The are charging $7000 for what? Be careful! Do your homework! There are better companies with better prices!
Although I didn’t hire them, they came out and gave me a good assessment and determined that I wouldn’t need their services.
Aquaguard was fine, but sub contractor they hired to actually installed the encapsulation was constantly late or not showing up at all. A job I was told would take 2 days took 2 weeks before completed. They also left trash in crawlspace just inside the door. Pieces of pipe for instance. Sealant foam left oozing out of vents outside of crawlspace wall.
A so called expert from AquaGuard inspected my basement and determined that the flooring was leaking and they needed to jack-up the floor and put in a sump pump. When the crew arrived, they took down a stud wall (one wall of a basement office) and they found a sewer pipe going through the concrete wall and the hole was falling apart to a point that water and dirt was coming in. This was the actual cause of my leak. Crew put a little packing in the hole but still continued to jack up my basement floor. Fixing the hole would have cost me $100 but they charged me $5000 for the work on the floor even thou that wasn't the cause. I called the Sales Manager and explained what I found and he told me I didn't know what I was talking about. Having both an EE and ME degree, I'm sure I have the intelligence to determine when I've been taken for a ride.
Ever since I had them jack up floor joists in my house, every time it rains I get water in my basement. In 20 years of owning this house, I have never had water in basement. Water is coming over wall at exact point were the joists were jacked. Have contacted them and they are very dismissive and do not accept responsibility.
Excellent service, he was very thorough, great follow-up. A breath of fresh air!
Met all my expectations. Crew was on time, did an excellent job and were very professional. Cleanup was excellent as well. I am very happy with the completed project and will certainly recommend them to anyone needing their services.
The people who did the job were on time and also very professional! Explained the work to be done and did it in reasonable amount of time. I am very pleased with the outcome!
