Very nice man, tried his best, but failed miserably. Had 4 leather cushions to recover. Agreed to salvage backs and replace fronts with new vinyl to match. Unfortunately, his craftsmanship was shoddy. Side panels were all puckered, corners were rounded and uneven. His price was only a few dollars less than someone else because he was going to use the existing foam rather than replace it. He offered to try to improve the look, but I refused. He discounted price when I was not satisfied. He may be better at rcovering chairs as other reviews were good. Would not recommend for more intricate work.

What a wonderul experience we had with Assis ! He responded immediately to our inquiry, came next day with fabric samples and gave written estimate, picked up chairs and returned finished product ( 3 days earlier than expected). Absolutely beautiful ! His craftsmanship is right inline with his exuberant personality, which you will see upon meeting him. I will recommend Assis to all of my Florida neighbors. Assis is wonderful! He is very pleasant and nice to work with. I had four antique chairs that have been in my family since the 1800's that had to be re-upholstered because my cats clawed the seats.. Naturally, I was a bit reluctant to have someone pick them up but the other reviews were so glowing that I took the chance. Assis did a beautiful job. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend him. Now my problem is I hope the Sticky Paws keeps the cats from damaging them again.

After contacting two other repair services and were told they couldn't fix my couch, I called Assis. Assis had me send a photo of the damage. He told me what he could do and we agreed on a price. He came all the way across town and picked up the section of my couch that was damaged.(dog chewed it). Assis picked it up on a Saturday and called me on Tuesday saying it was fixed. And the good news, he found an easier way to make the repair so he even lowered the price. (Who does that)? When he returned the piece, I showed him two other chairs that the dog had chewed. They weren't damaged as bad. Instead of taking the chairs to repair them, Assis showed me how to do the repair myself. (Again, who does that)? Do I recommend Assis for your leather repair? an astounding YES. Assis is a true craftsman of the old school. Where others said they couldn't do difficult repairs, Assis could. This guy is the real deal. He is a craftsman, he is honest and he understands customer service.

Assiz gave me an estimate immediately, was on time for pickup and delivery and went above and beyond what I expected. I highly recommend this company.
