Our experience from start to finish was outstanding.We hired David and his team to install a front door and sidelights They were extremely understanding when we had issues with a door we ordered from an outside company being delayed. When door and sidelights arrived they gave us a date and finished the project beautifully. I am so impressed with the professionalism and work ethic of this company. They were clear in their explanations As well as spot on with estimate. Everyday I came home the area was clean and am looking forward to using them again for siding my home. I highly recommend this company. Just another reason to hire local.

From start to finish it was a pleasure working with David and his team. His initial estimate was right on, he kept me updated every step of the way, the work area was always tidy, and the job was finished in the timeframe originally stated. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

The estimate that was provided for the scope of work was very close to the time and materials used by the end. We came in just under budget. At every stage of the repair, communication was transparent and upfront. We are happy with the repair, and trust Buonopane and Sons as contractors for future work.

We hired Buonopane and Sons Construction on the recommendation of another contractor who could not do our job. Since our first meeting with Dave and Alex, they have been nothing but professional. We have had them do many things including: reframing ceilings and a bathroom, installing windows, removing a stovepipe and patching the roof, reinstalling a rim joist that had gone with rot, and installing drywall. Everything done is plumb, square, and level, and done with care. Dave and Alex have answers for every challenge and is pleasant to have around. I recommend them without reservation.

Had to replace all 4 stringers for a set of large deck stairs as they had completed rotted out (7 6' wide steps made from 2x12's). Unfortunately, these stringers are almost always custom and have to be cut onsite by hand. Living on an island with only access by boat, we had to work out the details completely by email and text. David studied the pictures with the eye of a craftsman and confidently came up with a plan and 2 cost options, either a flat rate or time and materials. I chose time and materials. He was able to slot me in within about 10 days, and on a Monday allowing me to disassemble the steps (which were being saved) over the weekend so that I could cut down on the hours I would need from them. On the day of the work, they were at the dock 10 minutes early at 7:20am. We loaded the boat with their tools and materials and headed out. Once onsite, they went right to work quickly assessing the job, then they worked very efficiently tracing out the new stringers and cutting them out, hanging and attaching them to the deck, and reassembling the stairs adding additional bracing at the bottom to square everything off and significantlty tightening up the posts that were already in place. The finished results were perfect, better than I imagined. A work of craftsmanship and stability, stairs that I will walk up and down confidently for many years!

Found them to be very skilled And confident. They did the carpentry for the framing and sheeting of the roof, framing interior walls and framing a deck. All was up to code and passed inspection

David installed new stairway and hardwood flooring. We were in a pinch as our refinance couldn t close until the stairs and floor were completed. He fit us in and got the job done quickly.

When you work on other people's projects all day, the last thing you want to do when you're at home is work on your own house. At the same time, you tend to be really picky, which makes it difficult to find someone that measures up (pun intended). We originally sat down with the guys from Buonopane & Son and C-Squared to learn about one another's businesses, but that quickly turned into, "We should have these guys finish our floors." Now that the job is done, I know it was the right decision. Our floors are stunning. Every time I walk out and see the new floors, I'm so happy both with decision to hire these guys and the end result.
