I signed a contract with them on May 8 for a new roof?. 19,400?.they called 2 weeks later telling me they are still trying to get the permit? I had to call them back 2 weeks later to find out what was going on? They were still waiting to get the permit?. they called me on May 30th talking about getting a over lay permit? I was at my retirement party and asked him to call me back Friday? I haven?t heard from them since? I put a 1,000 deposit down? I?m not very happy about this recommendation roofer?.

The project is not quite done. I am awaiting a gutter replacement which should happen over the next couple of days. The roof itself is done and looks beautiful. I was contacted by Journey Builders a day or two after I submitted a request on Angi.com. Yero came out and inspected my 25 year old roof, telling me it would be probably be October before they could schedule it (inspection was June 7th, 20224). When he called in to see when they could schedule it, they had a cancellation and knocked $5000 off the price if I was willing to start the next day. Exactly 7 days later almost to the hour the roof has been installed! Way sooner than I expected. Yero was totally pleasant and very low pressure as opposed to the estimator from another company who had visited my home the prior day and spent 3 hours trying to sell me a really expensive roof with car salesman tactics. I recommend Journey Builders highly.

Builder did not follow installation specifications for Owens Corning roofing products. They damaged open beam ceilings in the home, despite being warned repeatedly to watch out for them. Work was shody and several portions needed to be reinstalled or corrected.

Not finished yet. However Yero has bent over backwards working with solar co to stay within warranty. Has been very responsive to my calls and to making sure I have been kept in the loop every step of the way.

We’re not finished yet. This turned into a full redo of a roof done only 2 years ago by Neuhaus roofing who would not respond to my call of leaking roof.
