If we could give a higher rating we would ! Tyler is professional, personable, knowledgeable, and informative. He did us a exceptional service by getting our pool open this past weekend after countless delays due to weather!

Tyler from Central Ohio Pool and Spa is great! Nothing but good things to say about his work, and I will definitely be hiring him again for anything I need done to my pool or any of the equipment.

Tyler called me 5/25/2024 to chew me out. He acted like I was the problem when he drags out an opening and his promises to be sure chemicals will be in balance before leaving. It sounds like I have ongoing text only because he needed micromanaged and forgot to put in Polaris. Pool grab bar is very wobbly and I wanted him to fix as I fear falling. Is that too much to ask?? I asked him multiple times to place Polaris water pump cleaner into pool to accelerate SELF cleaning and as of 5/26/2024 Polaris cleaner still sitting in steps. I felt more responsible than leaving a gate unlocked to place neighbor kids at risK, I could watch his daughter by sitting in the chairs. Tyler was not willing. Tyler said the pressure gauge at 30 means pool needs back washed urgently or can ruin. He had me a nervous wreck because due to hand surgery and balance issues I feel I could fall. I already fell once back there this year with walker because of mulch on walkway that tipped walker. I even showed Tyler a screenshot of my appointments and that I was still in Physical therapy stroke rehab etc. He showed little empathy. Instead of apologizing he calls to chew me out yesterday 5/25. In my opinion that was very mean and cruel. I was asleep when his text came thru of not making it at 7a and woke 5a to get ready because Iâ m slow after stroke so I was trying to get ready and not be late not checking text. He chewed me out about my text messages I sent him but I was nice and felt necessary to text to respond to his texts in past or explain things because I am very conscientious. Plus some text were to VERY kindly micromanage things Tyler already promised to do but did NOT. I prepaid Tyler BEFORE he was even done. So I do not feel I deserve this treatment. Here are majority of texts. I am frustrated because Tyler promised not to leave at opening until chemicals in Balance on initial phone call. Tyler shows up 8pm or so in dark to finish his opening cleaning and adding chemicals and that was not a good thing. He rushed and forgot to not only not test water but add chemicals. Left huge Lowes bucket with unlabeled chemical. After my daughter added chemical because tyler demanded it and Because Tyler refused to add chemical. I took water SAMple to Leslie and chemicals were all off. Tyler blamed Leslie and said that they are retail and just want to sell me their expensive chemicals. He bashed Leslie from the start. I kept same pool company around 12 years until they moved out of town. I was so happy to think Tyler was the solution. At this point I asked for my money back but Tyler says no way. Tyler says he will prove I was bothering him about texting. While I am a licensed nurse and apologized to pacify him, Tyler said he will use my text apologizing to attempt to show I was a problem He has me so upset I canâ t sleep. Iâ m already in stroke recovery from a massive brain bleed and do not need all this. In my opinion his behavior is uncalled for. See texts screenshots. Tyler seemed awesome at first but in my opinion turned out to be uncaring and unreliable and mean and I was frustrated having to micromanage. I will see if can get text screenshots to upload as Tyler said he was going I use my text to make me look real bad. Sounds like pretty mean customer service skills. Not a single apology. The valve was to placed as previous company placed sideways to save pump and that might be why pump broke. Pump was working at closing from previous company. Tyler accused the previous company of improper closing when that company always did a good job closing. That company I think had been in business over 50 years with a storefront. They were forced out of Franklin county by a gas station. I could not afford to pay them $200 extra because they were out of town. ( canâ t get my texts to paste but will email ANGI

Tyler is the owner of company. Promised he would not leave from opening 4/27/2024 until all chemicals were in balance as part of his sales pitch. That hardly happened. In May 10 he returns to chemical pool as he had to replace motor. He never added chemicals because he accidentally locked pool cover. He demanded I add or a neighbor do. In fact he left unlabeled powdery chemical in Lowes container that I told him I couldnâ t add as I have walking & disability after a stroke & a fall risk. He said he would not return & someone else could add. After a family member added Tylerâ s chems pool water was way off balance 5/24 I Reqd he return because family away and I am still recovering from a stroke and not even there. He asked if he could hop fence or else I leave gate unlocked. I told him neighbor kids are wanting to get into yard & concern if someone drowns. He said he then would just meet me next day 5/25/2024 7a where he no showed. He demanded I leave gate unlocked & equipment unlocked or he would not come. After I told him the pressure gauge was on 30 & he had a concern the pool would ruin at 30. It is now 4:27pm and gate still unlocked and no Tyler. Real sweet guy in beginning but later lacked empathy or professionalism & did not care if a child drowned entering in unlocked gate. Family way and Iâ m sick elsewhere awaiting surgery & explained this to Tyler. Iâ m a nervous wreck & he knows stress led to my brain bleed stroke but he is unconcerned. I could kick myself for paying before job done. Lucia

Contracted service was for on going cleaning and repair from pool opening. The servicer on multiple times failed to show up on time when stated, if he showed up at all. Stated multiple things he would do and did follow what was stated. For a new business the owner needs to learn about customer service, and respecting customers.
