Fresh & Green Lawn Service

Was tired of having to argue about what constituted "quality lawn care" (straight vs crooked rows, why NOT weed whip next to cement, why run the blower thru the rock beds BEFORE exhausting cuttings from the mower deck into the rock beds, etc). Looked on line for competitors in the area, called a dozen or so, got bids from those who returned calls promptly, and had a good feeling with Chris when he visited. Tried Fresh and Green out and he mows just like I used to - quality, conscientious performance at a competitive price. I'll probably try him on fall cleanup too.

Fresh & Green Lawn Service came to my rescue after our former lawn service went out of business without warning. They started right away and I am very happy with their work. I would recommend Fresh & Green to everyone!

We just moved to a property where the lawn was overgrown as it was not mowed for a month. We requested a quote for a 1-acre yard and received a great quote from Chris. He was very responsive and came on time as agreed. As soon as he saw the yard, he requested 40% more payment because the 1-acre yard seemed larger than the 1-acre he expected. At this point, his quote was already more than anyone else's. Since he was already ready to start, we agreed, and he started mowing. He mowed the lawn and cleaned up about 2/3 of the yard's grass cuttings to one side (front yard), so about 1/3 of the yard (at the front) was covered with all the grass cuttings. He did not do any trimming. At this point, he said this is enough work for the payment he quoted, and that if we want him to finish trimming and cleaning up the grass cuttings it would require bringing some friends and paying a total of $400 for him to complete the job. We declined, of course, and were left to deal with the cleanup. While Chris seemed responsive and friendly, what he did was very highly unprofessional and ruined parts of our yard due to the decaying grass cuttings he left for which we needed some time to arrange cleanup. Of course, we did not want him to ever come back for regular mowing, and would not recommend his services to anyone.

We had been on vacation for two weeks so the lawn was already long. Then my husband was in a motorcycle accident (heâ s ok) and we needed the lawn mowed asap. Chris called me immediately after I submitted the request and showed up the next day. I think we were farther away than he anticipated and our yard was bigger than he expected but he stayed very close to his original estimate. He did a thorough job and we will definitely hire him again if the need arises. Great communication, great service, and a really nice guy.

Christopher was very communicative and quick to respond. He's currently providing lawn care services for a vacant property on behalf of our realty team and has kept us posted on the yard condition and honest enough to let us know when it was appropriate to skip a week of service so we wouldn't be paying for unneeded work.
