Write a ReviewVery polite very prompt and prices reasonable.
Very professional. I would say their customer service is their strongest suit. They took the time to fix areas of concern to make sure the job was done completely and to my satisfaction.
Call Irvin. These guys are awesome !
They did a great job. Fixed what I needed fixed, replaced what needed to be replaced. I appreciate their work.
I would NOT in way recommend Diversified Remodeling & Repair to ever step foot in my home based on communication, quality of work/attention to detail and professionalism. Mr. Irwin Dreyfus (Owner) is a man of few words and that is great, but he did not listen to what we wanted and never spoke to either my wife or I on the details of the job. We explained to him that we did and did NOT want him to do and he still drills into our foundation. He built a step out platform in our garage with a 6-inch step over, kind of like stepping into a shallow bathtub, but it's for storage. We initially told him that we knew there would be a step up to the platform and that was okay, but when I explained to Irwin Dreyfus his mistake, he tried to tell me it wasn't a big deal and didn't see anything wrong with it. Then he corrected his mistake by building a raised floor on top of the other lower floor and if my wife had not told him not to cover the electrical outlet he would have, his solution to his mistake was not to fix it correctly but to do a half decent job. In respect to French doors installed, he didn't take the time to make sure he could match the casing around the door or handles with the rest of house. The finish work was sloppy to say the least. He was asking for payment before the job was completed and never asked my wife to look at the work they had done. Mr. Irwin Dreyfus left before the job was completed and never looked it over the finished product. The texturing is nowhere near what is in the rest of the house and I would guess they painted over texturing that was not dry because it is smeared and paint blobs, door knob was not installed correctly. When I look at the finished work I was shocked and called Mr. Irwin Dreyfus and explained what was wrong his attitude was dry and of indignation. I'm guessing that his attention to detail is not what I would call acceptable in the least. Timeliness, he kept his appointments, fortunately my wife was planning on being home, because he called us the night before and informed they would be there the next day to start their work. When I told him this was the first time we heard of this, he tried to tell me that he had spoken to me about this appointment previously. I should have canceled the job right there and then, but that is my fault and I have learned an important lesson. Also, is his quote for the job was vague, there was a total, but it wasn't the total for the jobs listed, even though the jobs were listed above the total. I would say he was on the brink of deceptive billing practices, again I have had several (7) people look at his original estimate and it never made sense to anyone why he did his billing the way he did. I did pay more than what was in the original TOTAL for the work and I look at this as a somewhat expensive lesson we have learned when dealing with contractors.
This customer is writing a distorted view of our interaction because he didn't understand the written proposal provided him and once presented with an invoice, after the work was completed and approved by his wife. was upset that the amount was more than he thought it should be.
Wonderful service and fair price! Irwin was very hands on and provided great customer service. Had several crews to complete the different home projects that needed fixing/remodeled. We have a list of home projects and all completed in a day! Answerd our questions beyond the scope of our projects and was very knowledgeable about all things home. Will definitely be using them again.
Irwin showed up exactly when he said he would, went out of his way to help me and completed all the repairs to exceed my expectations
I was pleased. I will call on them again.
Work was excellent, Price seemed high
