    The most frustrating experience I have ever had with a vendor, I could not call them professionals due to the lack of customer respect, being misled from the beginning, and installation which took forever to do 850 square feet of laminate wood. The sales rep Diana misled us on product and once she got the deposit we never heard from her again. The installers left on three different occasions for hours to lunch. Our home was torn up and furniture stored for a very, very long time. I would not recommend these comedians to put down a throw rug much less put in carpet or install a laminate floor. Customer service non-existent.

    Expensive even with 50% off product and installation. Workers started at noon and left late ( 10:30 and 11:45). The floors looks good.

    Just terrible service. We contracted to do all the floors in our condo. We were told that the work would be accomplished in 2 to 3 days. We planned to move out for 3 days. After 9 days of it being ripped apart and not being completed and out of our condo for 9 days, we finally had it, and kicked them off the site. We sent emails and texts and made several calls to management, and sales, but to no avail. Nobody could seem to help. We cleaned up the mess, put our furniture back in place and moved back in to an unfinished condo. 9 days was too much to handle any longer. We will now need to find a professional company to come and finish the project. From what we can see, Empire contracts with local workers. They do not have any control over these individuals. They have no company quality control that we could see. The workers started working around noontime and because of condo rules had to be quiet by 5pm. There were two days when nobody showed up to work. This was an $11,000.00 dollar project. As of this writing, we have had no call backs in 3 days and the Manager is aware of this issue. You would think that they would have tried to take care of matters. Unfortunately they make you pay in full before they start work. I recommend that everyone just use local small businesses that have been in business for a long time and have a good reputation. Word of mouth is best...

    Arthur did an amazing job on installation of my carpet. SlevLana was a great sales rep. And appreciated her honesty and friendly nature. She didn’t sugar coat anything she didn't know.

    I would probably rate this experience higher, except that the installers fraudulently used my credit card number to rack up several hundred dollars in charges as they traveled about. Ironically, the credit card company canceled the card before the carpet installation was paid for!

    Difficult to get in touch with customer service: It takes a while before they return a call. I am not happy with the installation of the tile either.

    If you're not in a rich neighborhood, don't expect the sales people to care about your home. They totally blew off the things we said we needed, charged for things we didn't, said it would be a 1 day job and it was 4.

    9. Identity Verification (SSN)
      HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities.
