It was a pleasure painting your stairwells. Thank you for the nice review!
Absolutely wonderful service to work with from start to finish! The price was very reasonable and the people were professional and friendly. The work was done in the time period they provided and looks great.
Thank you for trusting us with the exterior of your home! And thank you for the wonderful review!
Five Star Painting has done two small jobs for us and they were terrific. They are very professional. They do a nice job selecting appropriate products for your project and they clean up after they are done. Their workmanship is high quality too. Highly recommend!
Thank you so much. It was a pleasure working with you!
Laura and her team were amazing! They did a fantastic job and didn’t have to come back to touch anything up. Perfect the first time!! We moved into our new house as they started painting and they did a great job cleaning up everyday and adjusting when to paint what based on the least impact to our family. I would highly recommend them!
We love to hear that you had a great experience! Thank you for your business!
Great
If you are planning to use 5 Star Painting, you will need to know a couple things first so that you can set yourself up for a decent experience and avoid disappointment. 1. When you meet with the estimator, make sure to use painter tape to mark any spots you show him/her. Also make sure issues you want addressed are in your contract. If you do not do this, issues will not be addressed and you will be disappointed. 2. Do not give them the final payment when the job is completed. You should hold onto your check until you have time to review their work. I was rushed to review my job. It was very chaotic. I was told I could contact them if I found things after they left. So, when I found stuff, I contacted them. The first thing the general manager asked me was did I give them the final payment. I said of course. As events unfolded, I know why that was important. Do not give this company its final payment until you really review their work. Trust me! 3. When they are in your home, monitor them closely to make sure they are completing all the items outlined in your contract. Do not assume that they are doing what was assigned. For example, I pointed out to the estimator that there were dings on the wall from my mom wheelchair. We discussed them. They were included in my contract. From a distance I thought they had been addressed but when going to use a nearby outlet this week, I realized they had not been fixed. Instead, the company painted over them. When I reached out to ask if this could be addressed, the manager blamed the carpet installers. I have included a picture - if the carpet installers caused this the wall would be chipped as well as dinged. This is why you need to monitor all aspects of the painting while they are in your home. Nothing will ever be the fault of the company. I expect her/him to respond to this saying they had come out 2 times to address other issues and that is why she/he is not having my current concern addressed. Yes, they did come out but that was because things were not done up to standard the first time. In fact, in an email response to me she said they "compensated me by coming on a Saturday to fix stuff. Well, I also took 2 days of leave for the original paint job and gave up a good chunk of my Saturday. So, I guess everyone compensated in some way to get it done right. 4. You will notice that any negative review is met with a lengthy rebuttal from the manager. This may be why you only see perfect reviews. I am sure others have seen how the company responds and decided not to post an honest review. I am sure this will be no different. 5. Best of luck to all who decide to spend a lot of money using this company. I spent $7000 to paint a 2 bedroom condo and that did not include painting my dining room. For that amount of money, it should have been done right the first time and they should not have rushed. They only allotted 2 days. 6. Included a couple pictures - drips of paint on walls (manager will try to tell you that any imperfection found is from your previous paint job - that is her go to response - remember you know your home better than her). Also if you ask them to fix any settling issues like baseboards that need caulking - double check - this is an example of something they had to come back to do for me.
Quick execution. Reliable communication.
They did a great job, on time and on cost.
Good customer care
