Reviews
Write a ReviewHandyman Home Improvement was very quick to respond to the issues we had with our house. Some minor issues and some larger issues, whatever task we had they were able to take care of it efficiently. I highly recommend using them for any problems you may have around your home.
One of the "flake" contractors you hear about. Guy scheduled with me twice. First time "no show" after I took day off of work to meet him. Called him and he simply "forgot". Rescheduled...then he called me to tell me day prior to tell me he's too busy. He said he doesnt care about bad reviews on Home Advisor. Why? not because he cares about providing a service or taking pride in his reputation...his claim: "I dont really rely on Home Advisor anymore"...so, for him, it's okay to stand those referrals up. wow.
The guy came unprepared. He didn't bring his water hose and also quickly ran out of gasoline. He just rented the machine from home depot and came to my place. In fact, he brought a very small ladder and had to use my ladder. In terms of quality, he missed one big spot. When I asked him to redo the spot, he looked visibly upset. However he charged less money than others.
Value for money was superior. The quality of the work that was done was acceptable. The cleanup and the execution were well below expectations.
He gives a verbal estimate, b/c it is too much work to write or email it! Gave an initial price of 500.00 cash, then when he started kept complaining that it is too much work! takes time! need more money. Gave him 750.00 after lot of moaning and groaning, still was not happy and left the job site with lot of junk around. Also did spa painting, but again kept raising his price half way done and from 500 came to 1260!! I had more work and wanted him to do them, but NOT giving it to him after seeing his pattern of how he cuts corner and raises the price!
Marc did a very neat clean job. No debris was left on my property. I was so impressed with Marc that I had him come back to do a couple of handyman projects on my house. He once again did a fine clean professional job. I recommend Marc without reservation.
Needed some help right away and they had a great response time. Very helpful in designing and helping with a lighting solution.
Solid work, very clean with detail, and definitely took his time and did not rush the job!
He is very organized. Works very clean. He is dependable.
