Write a ReviewVery pleased with the customer service. He responded and I didn’t have to wait long before my project was completed very fast. The pricing was fare for a great job done. I will continue to use him for other things I need done around the house. I found my handyMan.
Had a few areas in my house that needed drywall repair and the garage needed to be finished with drywall because the previous owners failed to do it before we moved in. Roberto and his crew came bright and early and did a great job for a fair price. Would use them again.
Fast,reliable, professional work.
Well I learned that I’m not a great DYI person when it comes to drywall and especially on the ceiling. They came in and fixed my horrible mess and then painted the ceiling and I couldn’t be more pleased. Would recommend them to anyone!!
I will definitely use Mr. Lopez again. His team did an excellent job repairing the drywall in my house from beginning to end.
Roberto and his team were very easy to work with. They were punctual and professional. They worked clean and cleaned up before they left. The only way I knew they had been there was the work was done. I wouldnâ t hesitate to recommend Roberto and will call him whenever I need drywall work done.
I would highly recommend them they came out when they said they would they were very professional and did an excellent job so I would hire them in the future if I need to do assistance
Roberto Lopez verbally quoted me $300 to repair a stress fracture near the edge of my bathroom ceiling. He refused to give me a written estimate so I had to draw one up and have him sign it. On the day of the repair, 18 FEB 2021, Roberto left one of his workers at my home to do the project. A couple of hours later, Roberto sent me a couple of photos showing that his employee had stripped all of the paint layers off a portion of the center of the ceiling, which was not even where the crack was. Then Roberto called and told me that his man said the ceiling was damp. Roberto then came back to my house. He talked to his man for a few minutes before showing me water stains (that were from a previous leak that occurred years ago) on the ceiling. I went up into my attic to assess the situation and found no evidence of moisture or an active leak. I came back down and conveyed this to Roberto. I went and sat down in my living room to process for a moment. A few minutes later, Roberto called me into the bathroom and revealed a 2x6 irregular-shaped hole in my ceiling where his guy had pulled the drywall from the ceiling, an action I did not consent to. Roberto then points at a copper sewer exhaust pipe that runs behind the bathroom wall, through the attic, and up through the roof. He tells me that is where the leak is, even though a leak is not apparent. Next, Roberto gives me a new estimate of$1300 to replace the entire ceiling with new drywall, a job that only needed to be done because his guy destroyed my ceiling. I stopped the work and told Roberto to leave because I intended to chase down the purported leak. In the following days, I had an inspection done on my roof AND in my attic. No problems or leaks were found. The drywall remaining on the bathroom ceiling was dry as was the insulation in the attic and the studs that were right next to the pipe. I also checked the drywall pieces Roberto's man had removed and left all over my bathroom floor (along with all of the insulation that came down from the attic); they were also dry. I informed Roberto of this over text on 23 FEB 2021 and told him he could pick up the supplies he left behind as I intended to hire a different contractor to perform the work now required. Robert then informed me that I owed him $200 for the **repairs** that his guy had done. I balked at the amount, and he then telephoned me. Initially, he tried to convince me that there is a leak, stating that is why his man **cut a hole** in my ceiling, but when I challenged that, he told me that he was not going to lose sleep over a couple of hundred dollars. He said I did not have to pay him. I asked him numerous times to send that to me in a text, and he absolutely refused. Later that evening, he sent me a text telling me I have to pay him $200 for four hours of labor. I felt like he owed me money for the damage he caused, and told him as much, but I paid him just so I did not have to deal with him anymore. I originally hired Roberto because of his companys numerous 5-star reviews, but I did not get the great repairs other reviewers raved about. For my job, I got destruction of property, lies, and having to pay Roberto even though he did not even fix the stress crack I had contracted him for. He made an enormous mess of my ceiling that I now have to pay somebody else to repair. I am an older, single, disabled veteran living on a limited and fixed income and am stressed and saddened that Roberto did this to me. Clearly, I do not recommend his company. **UPDATE** After several weeks of working with a HOME ADVISOR Dispute Resolution agent, Roberto agreed to return the $200 I paid him.
Roberto and his team did an excellent job repairing the drywall; the repair was so good that it actually looked like they replaced the whole ceiling and wall. They also did an excellent job removing the wallpaper off the bathroom wall; and their painting of the bathroom, hallways, living room, dining room, and the kitchen was superb. Roberto and his team also did an excellent job removing the waves out of the carpet, and the best part was, it only took two and half days to complete the work. I highly recommend Roberto and his team for drywall, painting, carpentry work, and any repairs that they are capable of doing.
I did not have a big job - a leak from second floor damaged the ceiling of the family room. The problem was complicated by the fact that my Sheetrock has a â knockdownâ finish. I have heard several contractors say repairing knockdown is a messy, laborious job. I have had other drywall damage that was â fixedâ with spackle tufted up to look rough. Roberto Lopez knows how to repair knockdown so that the finished product looks exactly like the original. Completely indistinguishable. His preparation to protect the surrounding environment (floors, furniture etc). Is superb and completely effective. My job only took a couple of hours. Versus my expectations I was delighted. Highly recommend.
