I interviewed 5 roofing companies for my roof. I have a complicated roof as I have at least 3 surface areas all with different pitch grades. Sean was the second to call, third interviewed. His estimates were comparable to the average in the region but by far the best quoted. Sean sent several emails before and after the install and was available by phone during the install. I asked for him to come during the install and he obliged as his schedule allowed. The team working with Sean's company were professional. They walked the property regularly throughout the process, did not smoke on my property, and were polite to each other. The product that Sean recommended was of high quality and the product that is used throughout northern Virginia. Sean was THE ONLY owner to bring me and leave actual product information, all the other bidders brought iPad/tablet-based videos and photos. Sean was not a pushy salesman, and he knew his product better than the other bidders. Upon further inspection, Sean's demonstration and review of the product matched what I have recieved, his credentialing checked out with the warranty company and BBB, and his professionalism extended well past my experience with roofing. I have recommended him to several other neighbors and friends and have asked that he schedule me in for other contracting work in the future.

Very flexible regarding when to do estimate. Timely arrival. Fully explained all aspects of the installation relating to demo, each roofing layer and it s purpose, and the clean-up; and all payment options once the proposal was offered. Very agreeable to discounts of various types. We felt that we got good value for the agreed on price. Installers arrived promptly and were quick and efficient. Only hitch was the delay of product delivery, which Mello had no control over, so job was finished about two hours later than expected.

I give Mello Contracting a 5-Star rating for every aspect of the job. They replaced my roof, installed a new gutter system with gutter guards, and replaced several screens. Sean Mello is extremely knowledgeable, very responsive and so easy to work with when I had questions. I was especially impressed with his attention to details. His crews worked diligently, produced an outstanding finished product, and I m extremely happy with the way they protected my landscaping, etc. When finished, they cleaned everything up so I would never know they were there. I m extremely happy with the work they did for me. I highly recommend Mello Contracting and wouldn t hesitate to use their services again.

Very early starters, very efficient team work by all. Taking all precautions to plants and shrubs while doing their work.Detail oriented foreman inspected for lose plywood corners and re-nailed where required. As expected some sheeting required replacement and was done very well. We are quite satisfied with the work and would readily recommend Sean Mello Contracting to other folks based on our experience. Sean Mello called back the same day we contacted him about a new roof. Sean's staff was efficient and professional. The roof was installed in one day. The results are stunning, compared to our hail damaged asphalt roof. My husband and I would highly recommend Sean and his team to anyone who needs a roof.

These guys are true professionals. They will do whatever it takes to get the job done correctly without taking any shortcuts. I am extremely satisfied with my new roof/gutters and the high quality exterior work done on my home. Highly recommend!
