Reviews
Write a ReviewI hired Blake and company to pour a 15x38 stained and stamped patio. The cement pour, color and stamp turned out very nice. The problem I have is instead of letting the concrete sit for about 2 weeks, he sealed it after 3 days. It looked horrible as the moisture came up through the concrete and left white marks everywhere. His answer was more sealer (3 coats) and still looks bad. This was to be done by 12/1/18 and he wants to wait until spring to finish by putting another coat of sealer on it. I've researched and talked to other concrete installers and it will cost me $1164.00 to fix as sealer was put on too early. The sealer has to be stripped, let dry and only 2 thin coats reapplied. NTX has directed me to have another company fix the problem and has refunded me the money to make me whole and not be out any more cash above our contract.
Professional & communicative. The Patio's turned out fantastic
Written quote is $725 more than onsite quote. Blake asked for $100 for city permit, but after work started he found out concrete has to be much smaller due to city requirements. I was very upset about the concrete size reduction, but I agreed with the city. We agreed to redirect the drainage around the new concrete when we discussed the quote onsite the first time. No specific drainage solution applied after concrete was completed, so heavy rain washed away all the sand along and at the bottom of the concrete. I had to dig a temp ditch to avoid further water damage. Blake mentioned his company does not lay sod or do any landscape work after I raised the drainage issue to him. NTX did a good job on the concrete itself, communication is easy too, but Blake is not willing to resolve the drainage problem left behind.

Had my front walkway replaced. Very happy with the quality of work!
Blake and his crew were very prompt and courteous. The work was done on time and I would definitely recommend Blake to anyone considering concrete work.
It is important to define requirements in writing with great detail. Supervise the work closely for best results. The job was not without challenges and required communication start to finish. Ask for Lopez). Mr. Lopez does a professional job with pride. The work was completed in one day and with excellent results. Time will tell whether concrete stands up to Texas weather. Overall, although there were bumps in the road, I am very satisfied with final results.
it was very professional working with Blake. Apart from weather delays the work was done on schedule.
Very satisfied with the work!
