I had him in to look at possible mold and termites in our basement. He carefully inspected and did not feel we had either, but took air samples outside and from the basement to compare. They should be back in a week or so. He also conducted extra inspections and provided us with very practical improvements that we could make to the house.

Paul was extremely knowledgeable and gave great tips for maintaining certain parts of the home, as this is mine and my wife's first home. He was very thorough and answered any questions we had. Not only does he have numerous years of experience in the field, but has the best prices around. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone looking for a home inspection in the DMV area. We also received our detailed home inspection report the same day. I think our realtor was more surprised than we were, as we didn't go with the inspector she recommended and she was glad we didn't. I would definitely recommend Paul for any of your inspection needs. I was in a rare situation where I am renting the property that I had inspected, so I already had several questions that he was able to talk about immediately. There was a no BS about him that's definitely a plus in this arena as I think sometimes people will brush past questions and responses or mention something that doesn't really need to be addressed. I can appreciate his timeliness with arrival, the inspection itself, ability to answer my questions and then send the final report. The entire process was very enjoyable vs. the horror stories I have heard about regarding home inspections.
