I needed my garage door spring fixed last weekend before an appraisal. I called on Friday and OGD came out right away and had it repaired in no time. The guy was pleasant and knew his work. I would recommend them to anyone who needs garage door work done!

The spring on the garage door broke at 3:30 p.m. when my wife returned from the Post Office. Normally, having both cars “trapped” in the garage would be an annoyance — we could just reschedule our following day around a service call. This time, however, the schedule was already set: a 6:00 a.m. trip to the health center for cataract surgery. The first order of business was to try to get the spring replaced.We called our usual service company but they had no one free for “emergency” service that late in the day. They recommended a Google search, which brought us to Angi and Overhead Garage Door. To make a long story short, the OGD service tech arrived quickly, assessed the situation, made the spring replacement/tensioning AND did a thorough inspection and preventative maintenance on the door, opener, tracks, rollers, hinges… and was still able to complete the job and be on his way by 6:00 p.m. We’ll done, Joshua! Thanks also to Dylan for handling the call.

Josh came out the next day after I called them and he immediately saw what was wrong as soon as he entered my garage. He showed me everything that was wrong with my garage door and explained why it wasn’t functioning properly. He also explained how he was going to fix it. He fixed the door very quickly in about 2 hours and made sure it was opening and closing properly before he left. I had a lot junk in my garage and he was maneuver around it all to get the job done! He even replaced the battery in my remote opener. Highly satisfied customer here!
