I hired Eugene to paint the interior of our home, and I paid them 22% over the initial estimate, paint is peeling, and skim coating is lumpy, the metallic wall has smudges, the doors and woodwork were not painted properly, a sloppy, careless job was done, and the HVAC units were cut when tape was removed, an antique Chinese cabinet was scratched and will cost $600 to restore,
Contractor was able to provide the necessary services to my satisfaction.

Professional in their preparations and protection of interior, very god customer service as they kept in contact through process from start to finish Would have rated them a 5 but some area of the wall paint was visible on the trim which was not initially correct at the completion of the project and filling in hole on the trim was marginal.

It was not a positive experience.What we were told was going to be done was not.There was no prep work done to patch up nail marks before they painted.

Horrible customer service!!! Took them weeks and weeks to get in touch with someone after I mailed my deposit. After they arrived they left and said they didn t want to do the job And after their bosses convinced them to come back they unhappily did leaving an hour earlier and not finishing the job. I was told they would come back and finish the following weeks but after weeks of waiting we had to finish on our own!!! I would never recommend them!!! And pay them to do any job ever!!!

This was the most insane experience I have ever had with a subcontractor. I am in construction and work for one of the largest drywall subs in NYC- I have never seen work like this in my 15 years in the industry. First of all to start- this was a rush job. I brought that up to the PM when I got a call that they were almost finished (they had not even started the trim in my 850 sf apartment) and I asked how three coats on all the walls and 2 coats on the ceilings could be finished in 10 hours. I was quoted 3-4 days of work by not only them, but everyone else I got estimates from. When I got there they had not even started the trim so I was there to inspect their work without an actual opportunity to see what it was going to look like finished. Upon my inspection I saw the paper protection my newly finished hardwood floors ripped in several spots- and paint splatter where the paper was missing. I pointed this out to the PM and he had the workers begin to fix the paper in several areas throughout my apartment- something they needed to be told to do??? None of the floors in my closets had protection and there was paint splatter on their floors- again told the PM. Now I am getting nervous as this company is not cheap and claim to run some first class operation with PMs and foreman etc. but I assure you it is a show. The PMs seem competent and know how to talk professionally but the workers themselves I promise you are no better than a random person from craigslist. They got semi-gloss paint around the window casings on my adjacent matte walls. There were drips of paint in everywhere on my walls that I had to point out to the PM. I kept thinking why am I doing this work for them? Cannot they go around and see these issues without me having to show them to them? THE BEST PART IS THEY PAINTED OVER MY DOOR HARDWARE, MY OUTLETS AND BECAUSE THEY WERE RUSHING AND DID NOT TAKE TIME BETWEEN COATS TO LET SURFACES DRY THEY PAINTED MY FRONT DOOR CLOSED. You can imagine my surprise when I went to look at the finished product later the day they finished (magically on the 2nd day) and could not get into my apartment. I am not making this up- I really really wish I was. At first I thought there was a problem with my front door lock so I called a locksmith who told me the door was stuck and it had nothing to do with the lock. He used a pry bar to pop the door open. Honestly I could go on and one. I was genuinely looking forward to writing this review in hopes to steer ANYONE away from using this company. It was one headache after another. After they came back to sand my front door and paint it properly so it would not dry to itself they addressed the punchlist I created for them- of about 30 careless and sloppy areas to touch up- things like paint on my new fixtures, paint on my light switches, 2nd coats of paint visibly missing from areas on the walls- I could go on forever but it still upsets me to even think about it. I even still see things they missed now like how they did not paint one side of my door casing???? They also got paint on my kitchen cabinets. Please steer CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. I can assure you- you and anyone you know would do as good of a job as they did. That is all I kept thinking while they were working- why am I paying for this quality of work. Worst experience of my home renovation journey so far. For context I have only written 2 Yelp reviews in my life prior to this one and they were to praise the work of standout contractors. This was a standout horrible company. Please beware.

It seems that there were a few bumps in the road but they were under the assumption that all has been resolved. We have reviewed every picture you sent to the PM and he marked off that it was handled. Please correct me if that's not the case. The project was completed on July 23rd and on July 25th you met with the PM for a final walkthrough. From the text messages, it appears that you were satisfied with the final product.
