Reviews
Write a ReviewThe company and the project manager were very professional and easy to work with. The actual painting was a bit sloppy. painters got paint on the floor and carpet and just left it there. I had to go to home depot buy paint thinner and clean it myself.
The workers who repaired spackel walls and ceilings and the painting were extreamly skilled. The whole process from the estimate was a pleasure.
OUTSTANDING WORK.......
They did an excellent job.
Nice polite painters, very nice job.
when you want an a-1 job hire precision painting plus.ken came to our house and explained what we needed. the painter came and did the work. and paul came to make sure the job was done right and that we where happy.....
Jason and his crew was very friendly, professional, helpful. They cleaned up everything put stuff back in place with a smile. The price was reasonable. And yes i will use them again in the future.
Very respectful and cautious motto damage anything.
Everyone we dealt with was courteous and professional. Weather was very hot, so it took a few days longer than expected. All work completed was first quality. We are very happy.
TLDR: Dishonestly, rudeness, questionable receipts ruined some mostly good work. But there was some questionable work as well. If you want to possibly upset your very pregnant wife, sure, hire them. DETAILS: The sales person sent seemed reasonable. To give them some credit, the painting was mostly good. What baffled me was having coverage issues and claiming to paint so many coats (4-5) with an off-white color over shades a little darker (light sky blue). Ive worked with professional painters and have done some of painting also, and the pros can tell if they dont need a primer. Its bizarre that they did not, and insisted that they painted 4-5 coats. The first night I checked when they said they painted 2 coats already, it looked like one coat while you can clearly see that the cut areas are better coated -- because its brushed they said. Well of course, thats how you cut the edges. If you cant totally cover a smooth area with light paint using the very good paint (Benjamin Moore Aura), something is wrong with your process. The BAD part was the over-all project management. The project manager scheduled the start of the project without waiting for the buildings board approval, and my wife just barely able to make that happen. And then two nights in a row, the PM texted me to say the project is done and we should meet, but it wasnt done and he had to cancel meeting with me because the first time, its not even nearly done when I checked and the second time, they had those coverage issues (i.e. the PM was NOT really looking at the work). He seemed to lie about details being done or missed, mostly because -- as it became obvious -- he didnt know what was going on and he missed giving some instructions we gave him to the foreman. Now, the WORST part was having the PM talk to my wife for some issues. I had him call her because the painters disassembled a large cabinet to move it and had no guarantees to put it back together (huh?). So whatever the length of the phone call was, my wifes co-workers were quite concerned over-hearing the phone conversation as the guy was extremely rude and my very pregnant wife (whom the guy met) was visibly upset. My wife had to keep me from calling and yelling at the guy on the phone when I found out. Talking to the sales person (who is the PMs boss), we sorted it out and he sent a different PM to finish the work (the coverage and the details they missed which the rude PM claimed they had done but didnt). Lastly, the scans of the receipts that they sent were questionable, so if you are going to hire them, maybe buy your own paint. They said they had a discount in paint stores, but their prices arent any lower, and their receipts are sloppy and questionable. One receipt just had a charge for a very round credit card charge 350 and there was no indication what its for. In the end, we noted those receipts in our feedback and just decided to pay the rest of the balance to move on with the rest of our life
