Trevor did a great job. I thought he would come out & give me an estimate, make an appointment to come back and do the job, but he told me how much it would cost and completed the job the same day. Fantastic!

Trevor was very nice, and squeezed us in at the end of a work day. However, he arrived after 7 PM when he said he would come at 5-6 PM to troubleshoot a ceiling fan and light with a remote that had stopped working. After 1-1/4 hour, he was unable to fix the problem, saying that we could try taking the whole apparatus back to home depot and see if we could get an exchange. He charged for the full hour and a quarter plus the $45 Home Advisor fee. He could have at least taken the quarter hour off of the total, which was about $175.

Wow. I came over after hours to help you out and I verified that the switch was working and that you had power going to the fan. I charged you for 1 hour @$125 per hour plus the fee I have to pay home advisor which is fair. I did not charge you for the extra 15 minutes. I also did not charge you extra for coming over after hours. I am an electrician not the Maytag repairman. I did my best to troubleshoot your device and gave you my expert advice. I am sorry things did not go as you hoped and I do wish you the best of luck in finding a solution to your project. If you would like me to come install a new fan I will take 15% off the project. I believe

Trevor responded to my request right away and was very flexible in scheduling and able to do the work on Sunday. He diagnosed the electrical problem right away and fixed it very quickly. I thought his pricing was extremely reasonable. I will definitely hire Spark Smith Electric in the future.
