The quality of the work was very good, and the price was fair but itâ s the timeliness and communication that I appreciated the most. Sal was upfront and honest. He kept his scheduled appointments...if he said 8Am, they were there at 8am. No excuses, just good old fashioned customer service. I would use their services again and would recommend them.

Sal was a pleasure to work with. Concrete is concrete and anyone can do it, but his attention to detail, quick response and professional manner is what sold me from the first few words we spoke. I have a pain of an association and he was understanding to their many rules. Placed the slab exactly where it needed to be, stamped the concrete, tinted and sealed it quicker than what other neighbors have and are still currently experiencing. One day to demolish and prep another to finish and lay down the concrete, stamp, and tint. The neighbors contractor is now on 4 weeks and there is still no concrete poured. I really enjoyed working with this company and would definitely consider them to handle your next stamped concrete job. Sorry Sal, you came to do a concrete job and left with a motorcycle buddy.

Sal, the owner of the company was great to work with from start to finish. He and his team was timely and very methodical in the whole process from demolishing the old driveway to laying the concrete extending the driveway and then finally overlayed the exact design I showed. Flawless work. They also responded and worked around my tight schedule. I would definitely hire the company again.

This is a completely fair review. That being said, I have to say Strength Concrete was very flexible as the project changed part way through and became a 2 part project instead of just the stamped concrete installation. We decided to install a screen enclosure once the concrete was poured, so the appropriate footer would have to be added. Additionally, the finished product is exactly what I asked for and looks very nice. I am very pleased with those two things. Unfortunately, the process getting to the actual finished product left quite a bit to be desired. The concrete was supposed to be a 4" pour. When the old pavers were taken up, the underlying dirt was not leveled out to make an even 4" depth throughout. I understand it will not be perfect, but there were visibly noticeable mounds and dips everywhere. I had to pay the contractor responsible for the screen enclosure because he spent 8 hours on a Sunday, using a line and line leveler, digging and leveling the sand for an even 4" pour because the inspection was the next day. In addition to this, when Strength Concrete finished digging and framing the area, the slope was inappropriate. Instead of sloping slightly downward from the house so rain would run off and not collect, the far end was actually HIGHER than the end closest to the house. This means water would actually run towards the house. Again, the other company used string and a string leveler and dug it out so that it had the appropriate slope. When the concrete was done, there was piping that had been dug up and unused framing wood still in the back yard. The dirt/rocks that were dug up was also left around the perimeter of the new concrete slab. I had to ask about cleaning everything up. I was told to ask a landscaping company to dispose of the dirt when I got ready to take care of the sod. Because the dirt was a part of the prep for concrete, I asked Strength Concrete to clear it out, and I would take care of sod on my own. Strength Concrete came back with a bobcat and it is obvious they only spread the dirt that was once piled up onto the grass around the concrete as opposed to removing it. Perhaps it was asking a bit much, but I've never had any type of work done where the person performing the work didn't consider clean up of the work/job site a part of it. All in all, the finished product is nice, however, for me personally, looking back, I would have probably paid extra from the get-go to know the job was getting done correctly in its entirety from day one.

    Response from Company:

Jonathan, as you said the stamped concrete we did for you is 100% match what you asked us for. Regarding colors and Patterns and you called us 2 times to tell us how much you loved it !!!! Before we started the job, you were told many times that you would be In need of landscaping after we finished the job because a bobcat would need to pass in and out of the property many times and would kill the grass. We brought a bobcat in again on Christmas, in the evening, to level it up and clean as much as we could and that was not dirt it was soil from your slab. The finished concrete slab fulfills city coding and passed all inspections. In our opinion...

Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value We wanted to have a 19' X 12' patio area at the back of the house so we contacted Strength Concrete for the job. The owner was responsive to all our inquiries from the very first day and communication about all details of the job continued throughout the process. The owner, and those who assist him on site, are efficient and evidently understand concrete well. The result: a beautiful back patio stamped with a wood grain motif (he has many designs) that will be easy maintenance for us.

The quality of work was poor, very sloppy, left a big mess in my yard that I had to pay extra to get cleaned. I did not get the style of stamped concrete that was agreed on, Sal, the owner, noticed the mistake however he claimed there s nothing he can do. I would not recommend this company. Very greedy and dishonest.
