I wish there was an option to attach photos to this review! Richard and Tony did an amazing job with my cabinets! Even the guys delivering/installing my new appliances said they were amazed by the workmanship of the cabinets (and they've seen A LOT of refinished cabinets), and said that these are way better than what they've seen. These guys are seriously hard-working, honest, friendly, and totally legit. They were always on time and even worked through lunch (total dedication to their work)! Richard is especially meticulous and makes sure no detail is overlooked. Best of all it's affordable!

Richard and his associate were efficient, professional, and amiable. After receiving several exorbitant estimates, we were happy to find his company through Homeadvisor(who also has great customer service). My husband and I would highly recommend his company to anyone expecting high quality work for an excellent price! My cabinets are beautiful! Although I didn't see the color difference, Richard took the cabinets back to his shop to refinish them because they were not perfect. His work ethic surpassed my expectations! I would definitely hire his company again!

I had kitchen cabinets that were high quality but a little bit older and a little bit worn. It was time for a remodel and something had to be done. I looked at new and I stumbled across Rich by accident. He came by the house and described what he could do and the cost, which was less than half the cost of new cabinets. The job Rich did was far, far better than I could have hope. They look new. The wood grain just popped out and I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't dream of doing another kitchen without checking with Rich first. Plus, it was all done within 7 days.

The best part of the job was that it was fast. Started on Monday and finished on Friday. Richard was easy to work with and he was always on time and pleasant. There are a few spots that we noticed didn't get completely covered. They are not on the outside of the drawers or cabinets but rather on the inside. All in all it was a good experience.

Best price for great work. My Realtor and others were amazed at how inexpensive he was.

I am happy with the refinishing of my cabinets

Let me be the first to say that the House Doctor did an outstanding job on our cabinet refinishing. If we could have rated them a 15, we would have. They stained our cabinets in a rich dark espresso color, making the whole kitchen look brand new. The quality and care with which they completed the work will definitely have us coming back for future home projects. And the value for the price was unbeatable. We even had another workman who came in to install new appliances remark about how amazing our cabinets look. Thanks to the House Doctor team for a job well done.

Richard Adkins was professional, friendly and discussed options for the refinishing. He and his helper, Anthony worked well together. He was prompt, careful, clean and on time with the completion. The price was comparable to others. He did a great job and I am very satisfied with the end results.

The contractor was often late to show up, stained carpets and killed grass where solvent/stain apparently drippd or was poured. Contractor indicated he could refinish to one color but ended up staining the cabinets way too dark because he couldn't cover blemishes. Would have expected him to know that in advance. I canceled the work prematurely and ended up having to replace the cabinets
