Write a ReviewDid great job cleaning out years of debris and leaves. Wasn t best of weather but they kept working to complete job on time. Would use them again.
Showed up within 15 minutes! Great service. Highly recommend!
My project was finished in 2 days. There were no delays or distractions.
I gave them a diagram of the garden area and how to make it smaller. They ended up with stone rocks making it much larger. The workmen did not follow the plans at all !
if you would like Paige you can give me a call and we can make it right I was not aware that we made your garden a little too big give me a call and we will come back and straighten it out and make sure you are happy I wish you would called me to notify me this this is the first I had heard of it. thank you Chris W. My husband and I bought an abandoned house (call it the secret garden ) on two acres three years ago that had hundreds unmaintained, fancy invasive plants and trees that were strangling and eating the house and each other. Since we moved in, three other landscaping companies from home advisor had checked it out but none sent a quote (I was told the job was too big, or that they didn t do removal-to call them back if you re considering adding plants or a patio .) Chris sent us a quote the same day he checked out the job and we hired him on the spot. He and his crew were so professional and they did an amazing job with tree and shrub and vine removal; they also topped off our driveway with fresh gravel and removed 5 years of leaves and detritus from around the house. It means so much to us- we can go outside and just enjoy our yard. We can see our house when we turn into the driveway! They did in two days what would have taken us 5 years or more. I didn t tell them this but I was feeling so discouraged based on those interactions with the other companies and I haven t had the same energy since I had some health issues a few years ago. It really meant so much to us that they did what they said they would and even went above and beyond, clearing dead stuff we didn t even know was there (couldn t see it under the live stuff). We will definitely hire them for our next project and would recommend that you do too!
thank you for your review Beth let me know in the future if you guys need anything at all thank you so much. Chris Winn
Fast friendly really nice guy that dose great work
thank you Jamie let me know if you need anything else.
The yard was mowed, but none of the clippings were removed because it was raining and they were wet. The tree stump was removed, but there are still a lot of roots there, which I have tripped over. The forsythias were removed, but are growing back already. The rose bush was moved, but only after I mentioned that I thought he was moving it. The pavers were moved, but the pad was too small for the 2 bins so he had to come back to do that. There is a stack of cinder blocks on the side of my yard and there is so much growth there that wasn't trimmed, that I can't find them. Chris Winn has lied to me about damage to the skirting on my home, claiming that I did it with a weedwacker. I haven't used a weekwacker near the skirting since before I had this skirting put in. And there are at least 2 people who saw the damage and I have been told it was NOT from a weekwacker, but from a shovel or other tool that was used to take out the forsythias or put down mulch. He has also called me a liar, stating that I'm not holding up to "my side" of the bargain, where my only "side" was to pay him, which I did pay him in full for work that has not yet been completed and will not be completed. I offered to drop it all if he refunded part of the money that I paid (less than 1/4) and I'd use it to find someone that could do the work properly. At which time he basically claimed it was all fine and he was not refunding any money. He also told me that I needed to get seed to put down in 2 places where he put loam. The loam, by the way, has a lot of rocks in it. I'm sure that mowing will be an adventure. However, he is now telling me that his people put down seed. WHY would he ever tell me to spend even more money if his people had seeded it? If you're ever matched with this company, RUN as far as you can. The work I paid for and the work I received are VERY far apart. I think I got about 65% of what I was paying for overall. Yes, Home Advisor will help you, but they do NOTHING to actually get you any satisfaction unless you're able to find another contractor to give you an estimate on work that you probably don't have the money for now that you're wasted your money on this jerk. I put this review on Angie's List and the next day, he showed up and clipped the roots, nothing more. Want pictures? Just ask me.
