At Footprints Floors Denver, we take pride in offering excellent flooring services on time and at prices that won't break the bank. As a local, family and veteran owned and operated business, our goal is to take care of you the way we would want to be taken care of.

How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because there was a lack of disciplined, honest flooring companies. Footprints Floors Denver was founded by Air Force Veteran Bryan Park and his wife Kelli when Bryan was laid off as a result of the 2008 economic recession. With bills to pay and in need of an income, the Parks set out to start a business that would solve the glaring problems of dishonesty, greed and poor craftsmanship prevalent in the flooring industry. The result was Footprints Floors Denver. Bryan, Kelli and their team at Footprints Floors Denver have now been providing high quality, honest and friendly flooring service to the Denver community for over 10 years..

Community Involvement

As a family and veteran owned and operated business, we are proud to have our roots in the community of Denver.

We are blessed to be able to help support local nonprofits as well as our church with monthly donations.

We started in this industry in 2005.

We describe our business as Family owned and operated.

Install Natural Stone Tile

Quoted one price, specifically walked through the details of the project, and then they came back and wanted to double the price after we singed paperwork for less work than agreed upon. Beware.

Install Wood or Stone Laminate Flooring

After doing the bid by phone and sending by email to me, I never heard another word from them despite giving him a signed contract and given a 8/4 as install date. Emailed 3 times and left phone message twice, no response ! Called today somebody finally answered the phone and promised Todd would call today. Well no cal from Todd. I?m done and moving on. What a disappointment . Should have been enjoying my new floors instead of writing this review!

Install Ceramic or Porcelain Tile

Showed up on time, kept to the quote and did a beautiful job tiling the shower and floor. There were some issues with the prep so I'd recommend being sure your structural work is solid and just having them do tile work only (not installing cement board, niches or heated flooring.) However, as mentioned, the tile work is absolutely fantastic! I mean really really beautiful.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
