Write a ReviewVery prompt on scheduling and arrival. Texted a picture of repair person before arrival. Knowledgeable and was able to install a new door opener and springs at time of service. Price was fair for product and labor. Will be using this company for future needs.
$400 for 20 minutes work. One new cable and one bracket. Work was satisfactory. Cost would prohibit using this company again.

Efficient, hard working and honest
Did not know how expensive my repairs were going to be, but turned out to be more of a problem that I thought initially. Josh explained everything in detail, had all of the materials that he needed and fixed my problems.
Kenneth was a skilled professional. Was very thorough and knowledgeable in his craft. WouldnÂ’t hesitate to call A1 garage repair again.
The tech had to make two trips to resolve problem. We thought we had the problem resolved when he left on day one but we did not have resolution. The door opener acted up the very next time after he left so I had to call and reschedule a second trip for a couple days later. Based on his diagnosis on this trip the decision was made to replace existing drive/safety eye system with a new one. Tech was professional, did a good job. I had a problem with customer service/dispatch though. We set an appt for 2:00 on the first day so my wife and I went to town for lunch. As we approached the restaurant I get a call the tech was almost at my door so we turned around and went home to be there upon his arrival. Day two - We set an appointment for 8:00-10:00. At 9:45 I called and was advised it would be from 12-2. I had already planned a lunch /birthday lunch with a colleague. I had to cancel that. I was advised when the tech was on the way but they don't tell you it is a 90 minuts drive from whereever he left from to my house. When he arrived he questioned why I was ever told I had an 8:00 appt. He told me that particular morning (Thursdays) is always scheduled as Mgmt Meeting at the shop. Creds for sending a short bio and photo of tech so you can recognize hime upon arrival. That is a nice touch. Bottom, Tech did great work. New opener is working well and definitely quieter that the unit he replaced. Dispatch folks were friendly and polite on the phone but scheduling information they provided was not so good and caused me a bit of angst rearranging my schedule after I thought I had good information.
They did everything as promised. Tech installing door was very professional. New door looks great. Only problem I had was with customer service. I do not answer calls that do not have an ID. luckily they left a message. I would hire again.
I had a great experience with A1 Garage Door Service. No problems what so ever. Door works perfectly.
