Write a ReviewI paid $4,334 to have a repair dig-down of 13 feet of my foundation. They only did 5 feet, so I should have gotten a refund of $3,064.61 for the 8 feet not done. The work was done in September of last year, almost 9 months ago and I still have not received my refund for that work not done. The other project was to replace rotted wood in the patio area. For that project, they charged me $4,334.00. All they did was to sister 3 joist boards (3 foot long) and replace a 2 foot by 4-foot piece of wood on the floor. They did nothing to replace the band board or sill plate. I had to hire another company to do the work they did not, that one cost $5,525.00. There should have been a refund for that undone work too. I am an 81-year-old widow on a fixed income and was taken advantage of by Stay Dry Waterproofing and would recommend you to find another company to do your work. I also had a basement encapsulation of crawl spaces. They used thin, 6mm plastic instead of 13mm reinforced, as they should have! The cost for that was $8,260.00. This also by Stay Dry. Also, mold removal for $2,970.00... I still have mold!
This was a house that was sold, these are untrue statements and even had the bbb side with us on the determination by their mediators. The claims have changed several times. As far as the crawl space encapsulation there is no such thing as a 13 or 6 mil liner, again not sure of the confusion but this is another false statement. We actually encapsulated an additional crawl space for free at no charge. We have contracts and legal change orders to verify the work completed. These customers also signed off on a satisfactory completion certificate, advising she was happy and there are no concerns. This is a case of a home seller, hating to have t
Great service and value. On time, efficient and quality work.
Everyone on the project was courteous and helpful...from the initial office encounter, to sales for the estimate, and on to the foreman and his crew. They all explained and showed me what was needed and what was not needed. Eddie, the foreman, did a walk-through with me so that I could see just how the project turned out and how the system would work to keep the problem from re-occuring. He also said to let them know of any concerns or questions that I might have later. I feel that this is a good company to do business with.
I couldn t say enough about the positive experience with Stay Dry. Honest and professional
The company did exactly what was needed to a point. That being a couple places around my basement walls was a little lower than the existing floor. However, they did what the said they would do and stayed on site and on time. The clean up was completed with just a touch here and there that I need to do and then get the new tiles laid in place.
Hired them to repair my foundation. Excellent experience
My family had flooding with the spring storms, we had several companies come out. Several of the other well know companies turned us off immediately. Very pushy and tried to scare us. Stay Dry was different, the owner mark was great
I dealt with mark the owner and was pleased. He was honest and upfront. The workers did a great job and communication was wonderful
They came out and showed why we didn’t have a problem. That could have done some form of a repair and billed me but they were very honest.
